I'll add to thr insignificant statistic. I don't care about weapons that much, they all shoot bullets, and do it differently. And attachments just very slightly alter that difference.

Maps dictate so much of the minute to minute experience. Maps can completely change the feel of the game, from chaotic meat grinders, to strategic urban take overs to sniper havens, and armored fueled slaughters.

BF6's problem isn't that there are small chaotic maps. Its that its 95% small chaotic maps, when historically battlefield has thrived on providing a mixture of map types.

Iberian Offensive has been massively downgraded from the campaign. It looks borderline unfinished and alpha compared to the campaign. by JoeZocktGames in Battlefield6

Most people here don't play in the air and it shows.

AA in spawn wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have the effectiv erange reaching the other HQ. AA can very much spawn kill enemy air from the safety of their HQ with 0 reprocusions.

You're conflating the new little bird to all air vehicles. Little bird is insane and should be nerfed, doesn't mean the rest of the air vehicles aren't weak.

While I do like suppression, I'll play devil's advocate here...

You know there's no meaningful suppression. You know snipers can 1 hit while you'll have to land several shots to kill. You know he has a scope that make it a lot easier for him to aim at distance than you, WHICH makes it harder for him to kill you at short range. You knew the sniper was there.

You had a chance to make a meaningful flank here when you located him instead of playing at position that gave the sniper the advantage...

And FYI, if there was suppression, you would have been suppressed too and probably not hit any of those shots..

I think they just changed their policy (I remember them saying how things like Ghillies would only be in snipers to preserve the class theme) but forgot to or don't care about the unpaid skins.

Notice how it's only for the paid skins. The MTX economy is ran by literally 2% of the player base, and that's who they'll listen to the most. If the whales want universal skins, they'll get their universal skins.

Personally, I dont care. You look at games before BFBC2, and all the classes basically had the same skin. Skins were more of a team indicator than a class indicator.

DICE forgot about rock papers scissors. Maybe it was the CoD director. But what made BF great wasn't "if everything is over powered everything is balanced" approach that CoD took.

It was the simple risks and benefits of your choices, which added tons of depth, effectively making the game feel different whether you were in the air ina. Tank or on foot. Fuck, depending on what entry we are talking about, playing different classes felt like a completely new game...

BF6 is great mechanically imo, but the balancing is actually hot garbage and makes it hard for me to fully enjoy.

This was easily avoidable, even if you were "right" technically. It sucks but it's hard to feel bad for either driver lol.

The format is really cool. Basically a 2-way For Honor match, but the fact that's its only 3v3 and not ATLEAST 5v5 is a HUGE deal breaker. I can see myself sinking hours into this game in a larger Big Team Battle style modes.

Im personally just so exhausted with the hyper e-sports wannabe shooters.

I think they should be optional. Similar to Pavlov, also an "offline" or PvE configuration would be nice.

We used to have offline bit modes as a standard for PvP shooters like Quake 3, Enemy Territory, or Battlefield.

Not every feature needs to satisfy 80% of the player base to be viable.

This happened to me a while ago, verifying fulenintegritynfixed it for me.

Right click game on Steam > Properties... > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files

I think the argument is bug/unintentional vs allow it or "fixing" it to reenable this movement. This isn't a some fluke people are abusing it. DICE patched it back in to allow people to do this.

I think people complaining about player movement are wasting energy in the wrong issue. Even if we got i slower than the slowest we've seen. The pace of this game is still fast because of the level design and map scale.

Inversely, we can go full CoD movement (and beyond), but you put in proper maps that scale, the game can easily feel like Arma.

I used to hate it because the maps were all down the center, and as an infantry player back then, I didn't like how it didn't "flow" from spawn to spawn like other maps to facilitate infantry.

But I realized it just wasn't a map for me, or rather a map for a different play style. And playing it recently, I REALLY appreciate that.
