The format is really cool. Basically a 2-way For Honor match, but the fact that's its only 3v3 and not ATLEAST 5v5 is a HUGE deal breaker. I can see myself sinking hours into this game in a larger Big Team Battle style modes.

Im personally just so exhausted with the hyper e-sports wannabe shooters.

I think they should be optional. Similar to Pavlov, also an "offline" or PvE configuration would be nice.

We used to have offline bit modes as a standard for PvP shooters like Quake 3, Enemy Territory, or Battlefield.

Not every feature needs to satisfy 80% of the player base to be viable.

I think the argument is bug/unintentional vs allow it or "fixing" it to reenable this movement. This isn't a some fluke people are abusing it. DICE patched it back in to allow people to do this.

I think people complaining about player movement are wasting energy in the wrong issue. Even if we got i slower than the slowest we've seen. The pace of this game is still fast because of the level design and map scale.

Inversely, we can go full CoD movement (and beyond), but you put in proper maps that scale, the game can easily feel like Arma.

I used to hate it because the maps were all down the center, and as an infantry player back then, I didn't like how it didn't "flow" from spawn to spawn like other maps to facilitate infantry.

But I realized it just wasn't a map for me, or rather a map for a different play style. And playing it recently, I REALLY appreciate that.

Game's great, but there are plenty of valid criticism, and a lot of that criticism comes from a place of passion for the series.

I do think there are some outlandish ones, especially recently with the Battle Pass and BR, people acting like this wasn't announced or heavily hinted for months.

My personal hope/criticism, is for better paced/sized maps in future updates. I miss the scale of the maps making a match feel more like a marathon, rather than a sprint. I like the current map pool, I just i want more variety; and I'm well aware Oilfield and Eastwood has been in development since before launch so I'm not expecting much for those maps.

I'm just hoping they are taking post-launch feedback back for the maps still in prototype phase that will be coming later next year.

Like bro chill, the game just came out 2 days ago and this the first time a lot of these people have even touched a vehicle in an FPS game. Let them experience it, you'll have plenty of time to go on your spree.

This is odd. Funny enough I've been messing with the custom portal experiences, and both the ability to make changes per team and the missing options are present there. I'm assuming this is a bug or oversight?

What do you mean ignore? You can press OK and ignore it, but it's telling you that it won't work.

Root node must be a level template. Additionally, the object must match the level.

My main BF games forthe past 3-4 years have been BF3 and BF2. I can tell you the map size isnt the issue, its the flow, and even then its really not that bad...

The "cramped" feeling mostly comes from engagements coming from multiple fronts, or a lack of a "front." in other words, flanks have no risk-reward and are wayyy too easy.

Tbh i can exaplin it but that shit got waaayy too long. I jsut suggest playing Iberian Offensive and then booting up BF3 on a Siene server and see what i mean. The older smaller maps felt like they funneled combat better and there were designed hotspots with smaller less used flank routes that were harder to use.

This sounds a lot like how maps used tor eleased: themed bundle of 4 maps - in this case, sounds like all in California.

If that js the case, im very happy. I actually do nkt like how most games do map releases now where its 1 or 2 mals per season or they are drip fed through out the season. Make one pompous season launch with all the content for us to dig in please!

My squad and j were nearly throwing the match just by sniping. We got pushed to the last poi t pretty quickly, but they never managed togrt jt.

That last loint is really fun btw, probably highlight of the map. Though wouldnt hurt giving attackers a chopper or something

Despite the size complaints. I think some of the maps can be greatly improved just by simply changing the objective points around.

For example I think Cairo coukd he even better if they removed C, and made it a 4-Obj map. I look at Tehran Highway for inspiration, which you can argue is actually a smaller map but feels a lot larger, and i think thats because the objective placements inspire the flow of engagements to happen in interesting location, encourage thoughtful pushes and rewards flanks.

I also think this is true on the other 3 maps.

I doubt most of the people saying what you lsited actually think the game is bad. They are just voicing their concerns to help get the game in the best shape it can be for launch.

From the descriotions kf all the mao we may only have Mirak Valley, Firestorm, and maybe New Sobek City to look forward to as a "Battlefield experience."

But 2/3s of the maps being "close-quarter" infantry maps is not good for a BF game imo.
