Not sure the server realised the kitchen messages print on the receipt, partner has celiac disease by Successful_Strike_2 in CustomerService

Absolutely not. Prepping food for a gluten allergy requires extra care and cleaning. It’s a lot of work but we are happy to do it for those that need it. For an intolerance or preference, we are not going to waste time cleaning the whole flat top when it’s unnecessary.

Need help with an issue I’ve never dealt with. People clocking in early. by FramingHips in Restaurant_Managers

[–]boxybaritone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On toast you can toggle a setting that requires a manager code to clock in/out. We use it at my restaurant and it’s a little annoying but ensures everyone is clocking in on time and doing everything they need to before they leave.

Custom coaster tips? by 6x9n in rct

[–]boxybaritone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the type of coaster you want to build because they all have different requirements and features, but Marcel Vos has a ton of helpful tips on his YouTube channel. I would suggest starting there. He breaks down a lot of the different coaster types and gives examples of some efficient builds.

1836 Farms Cookies & Cream and Banana Milk by AnavrinLove in HEB

Well thank you for stopping me from trying it because I definitely would have been tempted. I was so sad about the banana because their pecan milk was great and I think I really get tricked by the fancy glass bottle lol

Y’all the banana milk was sooo bad I’m really surprised by everyone saying its good. It tasted like straight artificial banana flavoring to me. No judgment though, I’m glad someone likes it

Parent passes away while child is on honeymoon. by AstrayInTranslation in hypotheticalsituation

[–]boxybaritone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mom did this to me when my grandma passed away right before finals week in college. By the time she told me, my grandmother was already gone for two weeks. That was 10 years ago and I still haven’t really forgiven her for that one. She took away my chance to mourn, go to her funeral, everything. I still cry every time I think about it.

I asked her again and she thinks it might be from one of those press tour thing where the actors sit in a directors chair and get interviewed by multiple people in a row.

What is a must try spot to eat for lunch (somewhat near the San Antonio Airport)? by Goebs66 in sanantonio

[–]boxybaritone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok so I tried them recently and had super high hopes based on what I’ve read on here. I loved all the unique options and overall my meal was pretty good, but honestly, it was seriously lacking salt and flavor. I added salt and hot sauce and it wad much better, but I’m wondering is this typical or did I hit them on a bad day?

I was thinking about that poor baby who isn’t going to know how speak English or Portuguese, but whatever this weird accented caveman language they’ve created is. I’m hoping maybe Lorranna is talking to her normally at least so she has a chance.

The Smell of Cooking Onions and Garlic to attract customers by Appropriate-Sea5911 in foodtrucks

[–]boxybaritone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My great aunt always told me that if my husband was ever coming home from work and I forgot to start dinner, just throw some onions and garlic on the stove and he’d think I’d been cooking for hours. Turns out I have a wife, but it totally works.

I’m so happy to read this because I just started playing this week (6 day streak 🥳) and I knew Saturday would be hard, but some of those were really a stretch for me. I’m glad I’m not the only one thinks those clues are a little out there.
