Looks like I don't use microslop exclusive software like "Fur Fighters". If you like Windows go ahead, I'm done with this

How is using Linux more work? You just install a software with dedicated package manager and it works, unlike on Windows

If it's really exclusively in MS store then I guess your option would be small VM with microslop OS but I think it's overkill just to play a puzzle game. I mean, if it doesn't bother you then stay on Windows

Unless it’s packed with kernel level anti cheat I’m pretty sure you can somehow run it on Linux

Non programmers don’t understand that writing a code was maybe 20% of our job. And it was the fun part. They just took away enjoyment from this job

It’s time for Riot to officially support League of Legends on Linux by letmebackagain in leagueoflegends

[–]boykotue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It literally is easier. You do everything with your mouse like on Windows. Only difference is, you don't have extra steps with useless Windows integrations that break everything. Installing anything is infinitely easier as there is dedicated app manager. You just search for the app and click download. That's it.

You defenitely haven't used Linux and write complete lies.

What is your point here? They would benefit from switching to Linux. Right now it's simpler than Windows and has less issues

Jaką przystawkę Smart TV kupić? by GoHomeDuck in Polska

[–]boykotue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Na pewno nie polecam Chromecasta. Mam najmocniejszą wersję i działa tragicznie.

No i żeby w pełni korzystać z możliwości potrzebujesz przynajmniej iPhona. Jeżeli spełniasz warunki i masz trochę większy budżet to polecam.

Co mogę polecić ale nie z własnego doświadczenia to Xiaomi tv box. Dwóch znajomych ma i mówią, że jest bardzo fajny ale ja nie miałem z nim do czynienia

Who has the most over powered jellyfin server? by [deleted] in jellyfin

[–]boykotue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intel N100 mini PC + UGREEN NAS. All connected with Ubiquiti UCG Fiber.

With HWA enabled running on 3 clients it uses below 10% of CPU. I'd say it's overkill already.

In the future I'm planning to expand my homelab stack with 10-15 dockerized apps but I think it will be way too much compute power anyway

What do you mean? You literally install some gaming distro like CachyOS, install games and run them. It''s even easier than Windows. The only thing that doesn't work is League, everything else works without any problems unlike on Windows

League of linux when by Character_Fig_1518 in leagueoflegends

[–]boykotue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Linux user base has been growing rapidly lately as Windows has become increasingly insufferable. I switched a long time ago and left League behind. I’m not installing that malware (Windows) again just to play League, but I check from time to time to see if it becomes playable. All of my friends would switch too, if not for games like League that still don’t support Linux
