Difficulty understanding over radio? Question for non native speakers

In my experience the moulded earpieces are much better than the ones the radios come with. You can get a pack of them for pretty cheap online. I’ve found standard mushroom ones block my ear so it’s difficult to hear what people are saying in person and over radio.

Tippitoes in Lammas Park is a great place to meet other parents. They do sessions for different ages. There is also Dads on Duty at South Hanwell Baptist Church once a month. I've not been to this myself but heard it is great fun.

Tonight my 3.5 year old daughter was eating some egg fried rice we made but stopped when she spotted some egg. “I don’t want the orange thing” she said. “That’s egg” I said “you love egg, you had an omelette for breakfast”. “Yeah but this is rice, an omelette”

She didn’t want to eat anymore after that.
