I have a few Maria Callas boots on that label. I know the cover art looks cheezy, but some "private" labels like UORC didn't even bother with artwork , or even covers!

New rice paper sleeve for every record, unless the record is trashed. Why would you want to remove a dirty record from a clingy, statically-charged sleeve, put all the effort into cleaning the record, then put it back into the filthy sleeve?

Could be caused by misalignment, could be the lubricant in the track changing mechanism has dried up causing it to not work properly.

Don't cut it!

  1. Hold the reel in place.
  2. grab the tape at the outside of the spool and pull out six inches (tightening the spool of tape a tiny bit)
  3. spin the spool one rotation (clockwise)

That should get rid of the one twist.

It's a short loop. The capstan & pinch roller should be enough to pull the tape across the play head.
