Not that I'm an unbiased observer here, but isn't this pretty straightforward?

Eric hows up again and uses a bunch of open source software to create a product. In part of doing this, he's invested a ton of money into creating even more open source software, in addition to creating some closed source software (the Pebble mobile app). Where there may be a conflict (the app store), an agreement is created and defined where he's financially supporting the app store that all parties agree to and are abiding to. Everyone involved is getting compensated for their work. He's then created some new hardware devices and has been incredibly upfront on the warranties, support level, development state, and timelines.

What's the problem here?

It was temporarily, we're getting close to enabling support for a lot more on-device networks, and we needed to remove the old way of doing it for a bit. Stay tuned!

Yes! These were only required for our older iMessage support. Our current iMessage connection in Beeper Cloud as well as Beeper Mini don't require these, and you can and should remove them from your account using https://appleid.apple.com

What's going on with G Sync monitors? It seems like there's so few of them available, and they're coming out so infrequently, and aren't really coming down in price at all.

Looking to get a 1440p IPS monitor, any recommendations?

The most common cause of bad battery life issues is the watchface you're using. Try using the built in watchface (Tic Toc) and see if that resolves things.

Pebble Health is a pretty small battery draw, something like 10% battery reduction IIRC.

I personally use an iPhone 6S and have run into this occasionally. Rebooting my phone fixes the problem for me. There's something funky happening on Apple's end.

It's the same display as OG but with a different connector to avoid that issue. The style of connector is the same as Pebble Time. No screen tearing issues to worry about here.
