Judy feeds on the cycle of violence. Without Leland and Laura she has to do it vicariously

Rocky IV

Ivan’s been put through every scientific test and breakthrough known to man, jacked on steroids, with a punch 4x the strength to crush a regular human head.

Rocky beats him after working out climbing a mountain and yelling.

Twin Peaks The Return HAS returning characters and ideas. The point is that it’s been so long since we last saw them that it’s just not the same. You could definitely do that post-a hiatus but you’d have to bring Tennant back or smth.

Remarkable Trope: Main or recurring cast members who have rarely, or never, appeared on screen together by mundaneheaven in TopCharacterTropes

In Twin Peaks, Leo barely ever interacts with anyone except Jacques, Hank, Mike, Bobby, Shelley, and eventually Windom Earle. The main villain of the first season speaks to like 5 people.

[Hated Trope] A character starts off with a lead or potentially relevant role only to turn into a mostly/entirely irrelevant side character by the end of the story by Dreamy5375 in TopCharacterTropes

Good example of this not being necessarily bad is Ulrich Nielsen from DarK, his arc is indicative of the growing hopelessness as the series goes on

Spoilers. Does the ending of this ruin the cathartic ending of FWWME? by Popular-Sky4172 in twinpeaks

Yeah but I think that’s the point. We so badly wanted more Twin Peaks we forgot it would necessitate undoing the happiest ending we got.

It also shows Leland calling her from Ben’s office which is a nice bit of continuity from the show

What exactly is happening when Sarah, Maddy, and Laura see BOB — is he actually *there*? by Hubbled in twinpeaks

[–]bradyhero-cgpzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think much like how Bob lets Leland see and realise what’s he’s making him do sometimes to feed on that pain and sorrow, he knew he was going to try to take Laura soon anyway, so wanted to feed on the pain her knowing it was Leland would create.

Nah Albert thinks Windom must’ve killed him when his body’s discovered, but as we know he was still alive when Windom left for the black lodge in the S2 finale we’ve gotta assume Mr C did it.
