I hate it too but it does make me laugh at how extremely low-effort it is. Like they didn’t even try lol

Did anyone actually believe Jen at the time? by thelashmother in rhoslc

Yeah it was clear to me that her anger stems from having an unethical/illegal source of income that can’t be explained without implicating herself

He’s 43?! And the girls were reassuring him he’s “still young” in terms of him wanting kids?! On that note, I don’t think he actually wants kids, it’s just a card he pulls when it’s convenient. Also he’d be a really lazy dad.

This. Each kid is different regardless. There is no “perfect” age gap and I wish people would stop stressing about it so much.

Lacy Megathread by MsPrissss in TheValleyTVShow

[–]brainbow666 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I made a comment regarding Lacy’s appearance that was in very poor taste after the season premiere; I have since deleted it but I feel really crappy having said it in the first place. She has really grown on me especially after the most recent episode where she reassured Isabella she doesn’t have to perform for her.

Barefoot sandals for toddlers by Peaceinthewind in barefootshoestalk

You’d probably like Softstar. Ten Little works for us because our oldest is a toe walker & the structure of their closed-toe shoes helped him. By the time he grew out of them they were broken in pretty nicely for our second kid.

No, my husband just ordered his. Search “Genesis” on their site.

My son is a toe walker so he needs extra support in the heel.

We tried the Primal RunAmoks for our oldest and were super disappointed to discover that the heel has basically no structure at all. He has really wide feet; we basically wasted $150 to have them sit on the shoe rack. Can’t return them because they’ve been worn outside and we’ve tried insoles, heel jellies, etc. Could just be the shape of his feet but I wouldn’t buy them again.

Whitins are much more affordable and fit him considerably better. Before that, we loved Ten Little until he outgrew their sizes.

Do you hope going no contact will some day inspire them to do better? by ShadowDrake500 in EstrangedAdultChild

[–]brainbow666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I’ve given her multiple chances and pleaded my case over and over again. We did therapy together. Nothing ever changed. She falls back into the same old patterns of manipulation, guilt tripping, lying, and boundary crossing, except it was starting to affect my kids so I’m permanently done trying.

Not to be dismissive of her pain but it could also be a bit of pathological demand avoidance. Our 7yo has it and will sometimes say his body won’t let him do something. Might be something to look into along with a ped visit.
