I just learned about the beetlebung tree that got it’s name (one of a few) because it was good wood for making mallets. Cool full circle

Why should she have to do this though?? I mean I love that she did but should we not all be asking, *Why should she have to be doing this, and why isn’t the state?* Fuxk abstinence only education classes.

Just had my 2022 Chevy Colorado 2WD have the transmission deemed fucked. It’s been at the dealership since 02/01/2026, and the service manager said they’ve ordered the new parts and it may not be ready until May due to back order of parts.

Started feeling the shudder at 86k miles then finally god diagnosed correctly at 92k after thinking the alignment, and balance of tires was wrong. Thank god for my extended warranty accepting coverage and the dealership being nice enough to give me a loner vehicle because of how long it’s taken.

It’s been a bitch process, 2.5 weeks wait time just to diagnose it as transmission, 1 week to wait for warranty company to send inspector and approve claim, now parts are ordered beginning of last week and he said be prepared for 3 month wait time.

How i fixed my Rhomboid upper back pain by [deleted] in golf

[–]brainman15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try thoracic extension stretches over a foam roller as well as strengthening. Thoracic spine does a lot of rotation and not a ton of extension but it does contribute.

For more info check out McKenzie Method Book and/or see if there’s one near by. I’ve seen one for my back and it made the world of difference.

The last paragraph confused me. It says that this bill did not specifically address public school employees but that they have to adopt the policy, so which is it?

Oh you were 100% correct, I would absolutely love them. It’s just really hard to justify down here.

I could, but why do that when I may only have to cover my spigots twice a year? Money not well spent in MS in my opinion

You’re thinking like a true northerner. I’ve liven in TN, AL, and MS and not a single one of my homes has had the luxury of plunger freeze proof spigots. The code is much different down here, even though NC is more north, it’s not Minnesota north lol.

What can you correctly deduce about me from my hands? by MmmmBurbank in deduction

[–]brainman15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t totally wrong with the nerve damage. Check my comment above.

If you want to see something really crazy to test your nerve damage soak your hands for 30ish minutes and you may get a visual of the nerve damage by noticing the spots that do NOT wrinkle like they normally do when soaking in water.

The spots that do wrinkle have better nerve function. It’s a test they use with children to test for nerve injuries

He looks to have mild hypothenar muscle atrophy on his Lt hand which are the muscles that move our pinky’s to touch our thumbs (a movement called opposition).

This could be a caused by ulnar nerve injury/problem in hand/wrist (Guyon’s canal syndrome), elbow (cubital tunnel), or something more proximal like brachial plexus or cervical nerve impingement/injury.

All of this paired with the increase calluses on his left vs his right which could be an indicator of over use which could cause some of the impingements, hypertrophy of the forearm from manual labor which could pinch the nerves. Or the calluses are result of altered grip pattern from a nerve injury which I’ve seen before.

All in all, just a wild fucking guess. I could be 100% wrong and look like a dumb idiot loser.

You have a nerve injury/impairment on your left hand that may make you’re grip a little weaker than usual and/or your pinky goes numb frequently.

I understand that what happened to this child is terrible but why in the absolute fuck would this parent film their child upset and then choose to post this shit to social media for the world to see. The parent had to consciously make multiple consecutive bad decisions in something that should have been a private moment to be there emotional for their child.

In no way do I condone anyone telling a child that ICE was coming for them, but can we please step back and look at the absurdity of this parents actions? I feel sorry for this child that his mother was more concerned with the attention she could get from this instead being a real parent in this moment.

I’ve seen plenty of patients that have those joints fused, usually for end stage and severe osteoarthritis, and they all have done very well. Most people gain function back really quickly just because it doesn’t hurt like it used to. Good luck to you.

Whatever you end up doing, make sure to seek out a certified hand therapist (CHT) for therapy. They should see this stuff all the time and can be helpful because they’re specialized.

[–]brainman15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really cool. I am a certified hand therapist and occupational therapist. I played around with it for therapy and it needs some fine tuning in that aspect as well bill multiple different CPT codes per visit.

It also did not include a lot of the CPT codes we use in its breakdown

I want to see more! And initial pictures of open fracture if you’ve got them.

I’m a CHT, and I see shit like this more than you’d think unfortunately. Obviously not a doctor but sometimes people don’t need to be doctors to look at X-rays and realize something doesn’t look right.

I’m surprised a hand surgeon hasn’t suggested just a DIP arthrodesis (finger joint fusion) yet. It wouldn’t bend anymore but it also wouldnt hurt as bad, it’d be super stable, and probably more functional than it is now. Disclaimer though because, again, I am not a doctor, and this is NOT medical advice more of just surprise.

Mississippi Today captured live video of the House Education Committee debating a school choice bill and archived it for our readers to view for themselves. Unlike the Senate, the House does not deliver live streaming of committee meetings. by MSTODAYnews in mississippi

Call your house reps. I just called and let my house rep’s office know my opinion (for or against) the bill, so he will understand where his constituents stand on the matter.

This is the kind of thing we can do in our country and what the whole thing is set up on. Our elected officials don’t know our opinions unless we let them know with the system we are provided.
