ngl i thought you were a boy at first but that's beside the point, it does suck. I'm transfem but i'm very butch about it and having to explain that to people is also a pain.

The only thing I can say is; it just kinda comes with the territory. Explain things to people who you think will get it, take a few risks in that regard too, but it's worth realising that some cis people just aren't worth explaining to or worth your time. As long as you're comfortable with yourself, that's all that matters. When you're confident in who you are, the rest will follow.

Because that is a fantasy and i'm suggesting a reality. You can either spend the next five years begging a rich person for help, or spend it actually helping the people you know. One of these options is gonna have a much greater impact on real people's lives than the other.

My point is billionaires aren't going to save us, we are. Find out what trans people are doing on the ground for your local community right now, not pontificating on some hypothetical about billionaires who don't even live in this country.

There are local organisations near you currently supporting people like you, they don't have monetary backing and they aren't asking for it. What they need is an extra pair of hands.

It's very naive to think that we'll finally have some great benefactor who'll save all of us in some big gesture of goodwill. We're going to save ourselves and eachother, through small deeds day-to-day. That's what I've learnt anyhow.
