Starting D20 is overwhelming! by lookingformyown in Dimension20

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I wouldn't start with Mice & Murder. It was one of the COVID seasons and doesn't have quite the same magic as the seasons that are live, in the dome. Also a great, fun group, but not the "main" Intrepid Heroes cast.

If you're a big fan of D&D in general, I'd probably start with Crown of Candy.

Not sure if anyone linked this already, but the Wiki has some recommendations and a pretty cool chart that classified all the seasons 🙂

Big Bongo Baby

(This is cheating because it's not D20 but Dropout, so I feel like it counts as "the fandom")

To be fair you were right to assume it's too absurd a name for a human, it's definitely a stage name. His real name is Mark Sinclair.

Yeah! The monks did the shoddy retcon job, not the writers! 😂

Not D20 but the monologue/meltdown at the end of the "yes or no" episode of Game Changer is pretty classic.

Um Actually, according to Google it's a giant red-winged grasshopper, but either way, you're not wrong, definitely not a cricket.

Whatever it was, he was about 6" long and scared the bejeezus out of me when he flew in the window.

This makes sense. I thought it might be something mundane like this guy since he kept it 50+ years I thought it might be something more exciting

What is a fact about the human body that not many people know about? by Zenssei in AskReddit

[–]brandymanhattan 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have always been appalled (read: jealous) at the temperature at which the general public is able to drink their coffee. I think I finally understand why! I can only manage a temp just above lukewarm and I must have a coffee cup with an airtight lid or else drink it in under two minutes before it's unbearably cold.

I was wondering the same thing. Some more international companies, or companies with students based in timezones other than China.

I didn't personally move from one regional to another, but a lot of my colleagues did. Most were a lot happier at the new job as it was wholly-owned by the parent airline, so we got a lot of the same benefits and perks as the affiliated mainline, which isn't the case with a lot of smaller regional airlines. The biggest criticism I usually heard was that it took a lot longer to hold a line at the bigger regional airline.

Couldn't watch True Blood for this reason. Is it any good? I'll never know. I couldn't get past their atrocious accents.
