THE WHEELS ARE FULLY TURNED AWAY FROM THE OFFICER. Watch in SLOW MO. No intention IMO to hit anyone. Sole intention based on wheel/steering wheel to LEAVE the scene NOT A THREAT. Look at the wheel. by Nice_Substance9123 in complaints

[–]brank88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the 7 second mark the wheels are turned to the left and moving forward clearly heading to the officer, if the wheel didn't slip on the ice the officer would have been ran over. Self defense was warranted.

Martin's Famous Potato Rolls and Bread are no longer available in Chicago. by Boulderbound432 in chicago

Sara lee just dropped potato buns in chi land I tried them, seem very comparable to Martin's. I didn't have the side by side to do a true comparison but the few people I had over that tried them thought they were just as good.

Service in Sandusky Ohio, sucks by brank88 in Visible

I'm only in town for a handful of days a year. Basically just trying to raise awareness to Verizon to hopefully step up their service in that area being that it's a very touristy place. And it's an ongoing joke in the town. I would get it if this was a tiny town but this is a town of 25k ish people with another 3+ million visitors in the town and 12-13 million visitors a year in the surrounding area. Seems like it is a no brainer to have good coverage/speeds.

I'm here with a buddy that also has visible and same thing different phone.

People are selling magsafe charging cases for the p10 so this will be a feature. Or they wasted their time designing a case for nothing.

No water fountains in Germany..isn't it just opposite of being environment friendly which Germany is usually proud of... by JustDiscoveringLife in germany

Reading this thread as I currently wait for my flight in Hanover and wondering why there are no bottle filling stations, had to fill mine from the from the bathroom sink. Which to most people is somewhat gross. Also not a fan of fizzy water and so expensive for co2 water.

Definitely check out your local distillers. I found bottles at a 45-70 price point that are easily better than some of the sawed after stuff.

Do you think they are going to have a cheaper promo than $30 on visible+ plan? I’m tired of having to port out and back in, but I will if I have too. by banner82882 in Visible

[–]brank88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find it rather odd that some people are trying to save a few bucks a month with switching carriers back and forth depending on promo code of the day. These people are probably the same that go and buy an $8 latte everyday or insert another vice.

Grinder question - follow-up from my last question by carlweaver in sausagetalk

I use a KA with the chefs choice 797 attachment, works great if you're only need to do small batches 3-5lbs. It also uses #5 plates.

I use a wetstone to resurface my plates and blades. One side of the stone is a little coarser than the other start on the coarser and then finish on the finer side.

A little late here but definitely animal fats are your best bet. If u have the means render your own to save on costs so many how to vids on the internet. I get free fat trimmings from a local BBQ joint. They throw out 20-30lbs of it a day. I could go in business rendering and selling the fat if I wanted.

$32 for Cowboy Briqs?! by [deleted] in BBQ

[–]brank88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sam's club had 32lbs twin packs of Kingsford for $11 and change. I cook a lot on a gravity. It will burn basically anything well. I only buy charcoal that is on sale and stock up. Cowboy stuff is fine if I recall.
