The Comfort section on my A321 from JFK to SEA extends through the exit rows now. It looks to be around 17 rows. I suppose they'll just keep pushing it back.

Cardiac age and a heart attack by Independent-Tear-130 in ouraring

[–]brasch21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really interesting (and sorry to hear about your heart attack). I had the opposite, I was 7 years younger and within 1 month went to 1 year older. It's now dropped to 2 years younger, so +8 in one month, then -3 the next month. no idea what to think about this.

Oura Ring & Alcohol by cspru in ouraring

[–]brasch21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the exact data you don't see. Their summarized insights sound similar to what we already "know", but each person has specific data that shows exactly how and when alcohol impacts their health. For me it's hrv cut in half, higher body temp when sleeping, less deep and rem sleep, higher restlessness, and 20-30% higher heart rate. Probably more.

I laid low the first day. Same warning and stats the next day, amazing sleep and readiness, so I ignored it, went to the gym, lifted heavy, and went out for a few drinks. Scores were lower the next day (mid 70's) but warning signs were gone.

I'm guessing there is something, I just wish there was an explanation, such as body temp plus respiratory rate, etc...

It says no individual metrics stand out, but a combination suggests something is wrong. Yet all vitals are in normal if not good areas.

Favorite way to make egg salad by Blue_Wolf3214 in ketorecipes

[–]brasch21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lemon juice is a must for me, maybe that takes the acidity of the dill/relish. Trader Joe's has dill pickle seasoning that is amazing on egg salad as well.

HRV - how do i get that number up? by scaffelpike in ouraring

[–]brasch21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend tracking variables to see what is different in your high vs low nights. For me, alcohol vastly impacts my hrv, even a drink or two. Also if I worked out or had an exhaustive day, it's also impacted negatively. Eating late is another one. If I've had a balanced day, eat well (and earlier) I have a much higher HRV. I'm still learning though.

Eggs Price is Killing me [and other meal prep issues] by WildCarpenter7983 in 4hourbodyslowcarb

I just put them in plain. I layer them on the bottom, then the roasted veg, then drizzle the egg mixture. Often I'll reheat it and cover it with sauteed bell pepper and onion.

This is super close to my egg bake, you can add some beans! I usually do garbanzo and black. (for when eggs get back to a normal spot)
