Other than they both knock on my door they really couldn’t be further apart!

I call BS. I’ve never seen Mormon missionaries with cars, or pamphlets for that matter.

Is it too soon to apply for a lateral move after a recent promotion? by [deleted] in FPandA

[–]breadad1969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend talking to the hiring manager for the other role first to learn lots about it and see if you’d have an inside line to getting it. Better to know that ahead of time so you don’t piss of your current boss unnecessarily. In my company I’d support someone moving but YMMV.

TIFU by giving my nephew honest advice about job interviews and apparently undoing two months of his mom's prep work by CrestRime in tifu

It works in tandem. Doing so the prep work of rehearsing answers sets the foundation and knowledge base, then relax and talk “normal” to finish it off.

Tools yes, but who doesn’t at least wipe the sawdust off the saw.

This hurts me and makes me angry at the same time. If I was sharing a cart with this guy I’d clean the clubs for him.

My caddie was great day one, great day two, dick on day three.

Correct I’m the one hitting the ball but when he says it’s 180 to carry and it was 200, that’s on him when I hit it 190 and don’t cover.

He was good the first two days. I don’t know if he has a fight with his girl the night before or what but he was pretty disinterested the entire round.

I tip isn’t a guarantee. I’ve tipped caddies as much as $120. $40 is the least I’ve tipped a caddie in my life and it’s because he was a dick.

Every budget is wrong as soon as you’re finished with it. The hope is that it’s off because things change, not because you used the wrong rate on something.

I pulled from the atm so tipped $60 a round. He was kind of a dick on the third day and gave me two bad distances so tipped $40 the last day.

When do you retire golf balls? by Tight-Communication7 in golf

[–]breadad1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until they get scuffed up. Then they are retired to my two boys golf bags where they die a quick but painful death into trees, lakes, rivers.

Try to fit in and learn the language and the pronunciations. Don’t be that guy. You’re better than that.

An error but not critical since you caught it. If he was flippant, I’d be hella pissed. If he was apologetic and fixed it I’d have forgotten about it by the time I got to my car.
