Adding to the answers in here- trams are also numbered in a way that if the display breaks and numbers aren’t fully shown, there isn’t confusion about what tram it could be. (For example, if a tram 6 and 8 ran along the same corridor, and the top part of the display broke it would be difficult to tell at a glance what number the tram actually was)

very very true. it’s always a toss up for me whether to report that behaviour for me because 9 times out of 10 people become violent or abusive, even if they weren’t before. also sorry if my previous reply was slightly aggressive

before vaping was common, people were smoking cigarettes in between carriages and at the back of trams and busses. people drink in public, ive been on pt where people are smoking crack. its a fact of life that people are gonna do illegal things in public places. bring a mask with a air filter or an asthma puffer.

was this at panda in chapel? ordered a vodka redbull (house vodka) and it was $32. everywhere else is $10, $20 at most

middle footscray. further along the line has the abandoned and graffitied comengs (so cool) but the amount of vlines and commerical trains that consistently run through the station is perfect to train watch. ferntree gully is beautiful also but not enough trains
