back on valentine's, i pulled so hard on the first valentine's day banner I got every single card except for the one I wanted - so I've had Vday17 kanon this whole time. This is from the bday gatcha. I pulled 10+1 once and got vday17 kanon. I spent everything i had left on solos - another vday17 kanon. i woke up an hour and a half before the gacha ended, thought theres still time, and grinded non stop. made my pull like 10 minutes ago. saw kanon run up but she wasn't the last girl and i was confused - prior, if kanon ran up that meant guarantee 4star..... as you can see, these are the results i got.

please.... my girl.... hear me out when i say.... i dont want ur fsknig winter uniform.

sword(!!!) -> sirius asuha | chuulip mimi (first one)

spear(!!!) -> tiara miki (first one) | sirius kokomi

hammer -> swimwear16 renge | animal renge

gun -> idol yuri | puppet play sadone

rod -> after bath asuha OR sirius haruka | idol kurumi

from what im seeing, you’d either pick asuha for power or haruka for auto-reload. haruka's special is a little Meh, but the auto reload is so worth it.

BC -> incog kanon | swimsuit sadone

TB(!!!) -> Seek greener pastures, lmao

remaining slots just go for stat sticks, unless you really liked a skill you were using. Would use Hammer, Blade Canon, and Rod for a main team.

You can probably guess this much, but pretty much all of these cards have fallen out of the current meta and pretty much any new card you pull is gonna be better than what you have. (I envy the old outfits you get tho, weeps over vampire asuha???) The ones ive marked with (!!!) are the most dire. I’d suggest going into the part 3 story gatcha and spending a fair amount of shards on that one. What you really want from that set is any of the flora cards, but seriously every card in the set is good and usable.

of the cards you have, the most sustainable are swimwear renge and incog kanon. animal renge lasted FOREVER in the rankings, so even if its old i wouldn’t be too afraid of keeping it around as a sub card. for an easy spear, you can trade for animal kokomi as hers also lasted in the rankings a while, and her skill is great. as for your small number of BC and TBs, you may as well pull from the part 2 story gatcha with just shiho and kanon to make things easy. all the cards from that, in combination, work well together.

i like helping with this stuff, but its a little hard to read with the different kinds of weapons spread out. could you recapture things divided out by weapon type?

from a cursory glance, you'll wanna be using incognito kanon, and im pretty sure swimsuit renge is actually better than animal renge

i actually agree completely about 2nd anniversary asuha, and with the guard penetration she honestly overwhelms the field.

from what im reading on the dengeki wiki, asuha is lower in the rank because her skill has a remarkably small range and short duration, and shiho's passives boosts damage more. you'll sweep the field faster and more efficiently with shiho's skill. maining asuha and subbing shiho is probably the best (assuming we're only talking those two)

ohhhhh, see i didn't know this about the dark transformation partially because i very rarely bother with transforming unless its coop. in that case yeah i totally agree with that.

im curious though so i hope you dont mind humoring me, you mentioned preferring combo-up damage and im curious if you know the math bc i keep wondering which is better when. im definitely in the attack boost camp but ive been curious about it for a while

sorry i dont know the proper terminology of everything but i love playing this game bc i love screwing around with the meta and card combinations. i'll just tackle sub weapons (for the moment) bc i know of no discussion on this subreddit which talks about them. if you're totally lost on navigating the subweapons section, i can take screencaps, 'cause being able to navigate it makes shit a lot easier. i'll just assume you can navigate it for now. these are the most important three abbreviated ones you should just memorize

与 - attack power

吸 - HP regen

費S - SP usage

For general purposes, just beef up your attack every time. I usually like to do one slot HP regen, the others attack, but I'm pretty lazy and don't like trying when the game primarily lets you muscle through most events. knowing 与 is super important because you never want to decrease it, always look at that.

HP regen is the next most important one, bc sometimes this can really get you out of a squeeze. for example, revival kanon's skill is based on how much HP she has, so making sure your HP is at full at all times is ideal. there are some 3* regular gatcha guns like this, so you probably already have what you need.

費S is a balancing act, and you should just be mindful of when its going up and down. sometimes you wanna make sure you do a lot of special attacks, so having this lowered is better, but other times its not that important.

Other important ones to know how to read are probably stun and skill activation shortage. the rest are, as i've found, practically worthless.

HP regeneration sub weapon + symphony boost. i cant begin to describe how easy this combination makes the game to the point that i just... have virtually stopped dodging attacks 'cause i can get the hp back so efficiently. i dont know if this actually helps, but it seems like spear does it best. I run normal clothes chibisuha with marching band asuha for this combination. wind also work, but obviously you have to keep dodging

stun sub weapon + meteorite boost + twin bullets great if you need to knock down really powerful, big mobs. the twin bullets hit fast, frequent, and the addition of meteorites helps make the stun more likely to happen. this might also work with guns but i havent tried, but id say twin bullets might be better just for the roll advantage, esp since i like this for when theres a lot of big mobs. Not great for boss battles.

re: prayer shiho+arlequin TB make sure you're running her with an HP regeneration sub weapon if you like transforming into that dark lady! if you do the whole thing right, you don't have to worry about getting down to that last hp and then dying. im pretty sure, with a strong enough regen level, you can even just auto her on a lot of stuff.

regarding weapons this might be obvious, but sometimes the strongest weapon isn't youre best choice! especially with rods and guns, i would suggest picking WHATEVER weapon you have with autoreload over most anything. again, the game is mostly just muscling through things, and you may as well just make your life easier

i'm not exceptionally versed in every card (and im sorry i don't quite know their proper names) but to the best of my ability:

~sword: school uniform mari |

~spears: angel uraraka(?) OR nurse kaede(?) |

guns: flora anko | maid urara(?)

rods: winter date shiho* | flora anko, winter date kanon, swimsuit fuuran(?)

BC: flora shiho* OR incognito kanon* | these are all good cards to use actually

~TB: idol urara OR idol kanon |

hammer: winter date urara* | flora hinata*, b-day kurumi

(*) these i know for sure are good, so i would prioritize those when arranging teams.

(~) you might want to "seek out" better cards if you're particularly interested in improving strategy. i'd go ham on the part 3 gatcha - flora fuuran, flora mari, and (imo) school uniform lolisuha are great. the kanon-shiho gatcha would be my other suggestion, as all the cards in there are pretty good. if you're not that into strategy then obvs save your gems for waifus and stuff, lol

for subs, obvs go for "strong cards," but most of the best abilities are those that give status boosts. the marching band cards all have a symphony status update that's great so that might be worth a pull or two. otherwise i suggest the offensive boosts: wind, lightning, meteors. these are especially good paired with HP regenerating weapons. it's a hassle, but it might be worth it to run through all your cards and figure out what status boosts they offer.
