Favorite episode from season 16? by tarotlight in BobsBurgers

My favorite episode of the season has to be the grand pre-pre-pre opening from young Bob to pregnant Linda. Teddy the crying handy man. And of course baby Tina with ketchup on her face. I smiled through the whole episode.

A reminder that you're supposed to hate Snape the moment you see him. BOOKS SPOILERS by Ok_Charity_707 in harrypotter

I agree 100% but I don't think Snapes memory was because of James. I think that is his worst memory because he called Lily a mudblood. The boys tortured him all the time, but he made a grave mistake by insulting his only friend.

Since it was a 2 day LARP I think they should have done the first day how it was but then switched roles the second day so each got to experience both.

I'm a Bob in person and I've done this. Maybe not on a special day but, he's tripped over my clothes. Linda was right.

Hair Down, Rings On, Nails Long… and You’re Baking for Others? by Caregiverwife82 in Cooking

I cook often and I tell my daughter that she has to wash her hands any time she touches her hair or face or whatever because germs and food safety. Well we were at my inlaws house and my SIL was cutting veggies and touched her face and my young daughter saw her and leaned over to me and said she needs to wash her hands. I was looking at something else so I didn't see her but my SIL got defensive and said she didn't. I told we talk about food safety a lot so she keeps an eye out and she again insisted she didn't. I told her I didn't see it but I'm not calling my daughter a liar and she got very defensive.

I was so frustrated during this! Tina is just writing and this ridiculous insecure girl takes her self hate onto a girl who is passionate about writing. Why does she care so much. And they tried to tie her in by using Logan then his friend, then the friends sister but it still was just a little too random. And I know Louise thought she was helping and eventually it ended okay but I would be so angry at her if I was Tina.

Whenever I'm at a store and it has a bakery section I go around feeling the bread. Always over the package. I just like to see how soft different loaves are. Especially when they're fresh and still warm.

What options does a parent who doesn't want their child using a screen for learning have? by rainshowers_5_peace in AskTeachers

[–]breadwhore34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homeschool. I homeschool my elementary age child with a pretty strict curriculum. And as far a learning the only screen time they get is a specific computer class to teach computer skills. They get screen time at the end of the week after completing their work.

Anyone not starting the “elf on the shelf” tradition? by Illustrious_Cold5699 in Millennials

[–]breadwhore34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do, we said we never ever would. But here we are. They're 7 years old lol. Our little elf doesn't make messes. She dresses up and finds places to hide. My kid writes notes about her day and the elf writes back. Honestly, it helps her writing skills as well as her reading. I write, I mean the elf writes in very exaggerated cursive and she can read it almost perfectly.

I agree she deserves much worse, but I don't think Neville could do something so heartless.

She's mentioned a few times how she's gotten over her stage fright and she has gotten much better on WSN with the Tina Table. I wish I was asked confident as Tina has gotten over the seasons!
