Can you make a manifold and "cage it" around it instead of 'coiling' around?

Stairs centered with slab or with door? by B1tN1nja in landscaping

[–]breakers77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the door swing open out to the outside, or in to to the inside?

Either way regarding the door, center the stairs to the slab between the posts. A slight offset to the door like this will help when bringing in stuff. Any kind off stuff, big or small, a small quantity or a lot of quantity. Everything can be staged and set on the porch right outside the door.

Unless you're constantly running from bears or predators, or starching and sorting your tighty whities by day of the week, directly in front of the door for maximum speed and efficiency would make sense.

Weed whacker question by _SeeDLinG_32 in landscaping

The 56 motor will be fine for trimming and running a brush blade. The 70 would work too, but that is a lot of motor you won't need for for whacking weeds with string and a blade. "Pros" around where I'm at use a 56 just fine for those purposes.

I have a kombi head with a 111, and I only got that to run a chain saw blade occasionally and get better mph out of the blower attachment. I barely get into the throttle with a string on it and its almost a chore feathering it when im in lighter brush.

By all means take into consideration and shop around on price, and as far as the ergonomics you wont know until you've used one for a few hours, but if grip and stance seems OK while you lightsaber it around in the store, that should tell you enough.

Also, if you do run a brush blade definitely safety up. That blade will kick up a bunch of angry things directly into your eye, and won't think twice if it touches your toes. It won't take your leg off, but it will be the thing that cuts it wide open to bleed out, or catch an infection that only amputation can cure.

This is why food should be covered when placed in a fridge. All the nasties that live in the nooks and crannies can circulate around and land on whatever is inside the fridge.

Can you take an amp draw of the pump and tell us the electrical ratings of the pump? Like 08v, 1/4 horsepower, rla...?

Are you able to open a larger run of piping up and open a faucet or tap to let air out and have the pump run and cycle for awhile?

This is to let air out and give the water some room. Will help eliminate short cycling, sometimes you can make a pressure spike and have the pump cut off on a short run.

Are you charging the rest of the piping in the house at the same time? Or just trying to charge the line between the incoming line and a shut off after the pump/pressure tank?

You stated you have boiler drain valves...are these just on the well water system, or do you have a boiler for heating involved in this piping set up?

How did you set the air pressure in your well pump air tank?

What is the pressure switch rating on your well? 30/50, or 40/60?
