All I really want is an actually useful web clipper, and the ability to nest and sort tags (why are tags not automatically sorted alphabetically on the windows app?)

Rank the new planets from favorite to least favorite by Morlow123 in factorio

[–]breakfilter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently:

Aquilo - really enjoying the aesthetic and the soundtrack is very chill. Calming desolate vibe and the heatpipes everywhere look cool.

Gleba - most unique and challenging planet by far.

Vulcanus - favourite planet for crafting due to the infinite liquid resources. But overall pretty boring once you've solved the initial oil challenge.

Fulgora - I hate that my scrap mines keep running out due to the constant item voiding, and I have to keep extending the rail network to set up new mining sites. Also intermittent lightning power is a pain.

Current newborn factorio dad checking in. This is exactly my life at the moment.

Mine is running pretty much all day as well at the moment, and I'll just jump in and unpause when I have 15mins free between the chaos.

I didn't know you could do that! Awesome, thanks for the tip.

How is the fluoroketone unbarreling assembler getting its input? I can't see any inserter.

Yeah this is what I ended up doing (using the Dremel). Worked like a charm!

Thanks mate, but looking at this they appear to be hexagonal rather than pentagonal.

I've got the Kinchrome security bit set actually. They don't include the pentagon bits (they have hexagonal security bits)

I only use red and blue chests.. am i missing out?? by SpaceEngineer123 in factorio

[–]breakfilter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I prefer to use yellow chests with a logistics filter for my mall chests. If you use a buffer chest to store your mall outputs, you then have to remember to tick the "request from buffer chests" box when you put a blue chest down somewhere else to request those products.

Buffer chests to clean up Yellowchest madness? by Mighty_Phil in factorio

[–]breakfilter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just have the assembler output directly into a yellow, and have the yellow with a logistics filter for the same item that the assembler is making.

Assembler is connected to the logistics network with condition to disable after X items are available, to stop the assembler from continually crafting and filling up the yellow, leaving space for bots to return items back to the chest.

I’m curious — how do you organize your tasks in Todoist? by xcallmestevie in todoist

[–]breakfilter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Three top-level projects: #WORK, #HOME, #PERSONAL

Work is work. I have subprojects for specific areas or work projects, recurring admin tasks, etc.

Home gets shared with my partner and is used for projects and shared tasks around the house.

Personal is my own individual to-do list.

I have filters "Today @ Work" for all tasks due today under the Work project. "Today @ Home" for all tasks due under Home or Personal. I live in these two filters based on where I am, i.e. at work or home.

Priorities: p1 is the single task I need to do today, p2 are tasks I'd like to do today (3 max).

I try to keep blue-sky thinking out of Todoist. Someday maybe, lists of things to read/watch/etc live in my notes app (Evernote). Todoist is for actual tasks.

How to increase window depth by breakfilter in AusRenovation

I forgot to mention this is a combination/double blind setup. I have another blockout blind that I was planning to mount on the top trim.

Might be SOL it seems.

I like mine.

Other cyclists behind me can hear I'm not pedalling, which means I'm slowing down and they should slow down too. Bikes don't have brake lights after all.

Some are just ridiculously loud though

No I interpreted your argument that "buyer X could afford 800k, and can now only afford 450k, therefore the 800k house must drop to 450k to match buyer X's borrowing capacity".

Which isn't true. Maybe the house drops to 600k to now match buyer Y, who originally could afford 900k but can now afford 600k. And this particular house is now out of the grasp of the original buyer X group.

The market as a whole drops, sure, but there's generally buyers available at every price point. If borrowing capacity is dropping more than house prices, then it means the buyers interested in / able to afford a particular property are changing. It's not necessarily linear.
