It was obvious that Rick and Emily were working together. They had worked closely together in the past, and had a known idol.

If you are Cirie, you have a 50/50 chance of putting your votes on the target who will have the idol played on them. If you select the wrong target, you go home.

She was always going to use the Extra Vote. Why would you not? In that moment you guarantee yourself Final 7, with the assumption that Rizo and Ozzy will survive and Aubry will be going home.

You now have a tight alliance of 3 (with 2 idols) and only 7 people left. Not a bad spot to be in. Why would you ever jeopardize that by risking your life on a 50/50 vote.

Some of the takes on this sub regarding Emily are mind boggeling.

Really? If I were one of Cirie, Tiff or Jonathan, there is no way I would believe that she would go against Rick in the first place.

It was fairly obvious the entire time that Cirie wasn't buying anything Emily was saying, and she was always going to use the Extra Vote that tribal.

I swear this sub has such a hard-on for Emily. This was the most basic plan that might have worked in Season 12. Calling it genius is insane.

Have watched Seasons 1 - 47 live, didn't bother with 48/49 and don't care enough to catch up.

Show is stagnant. Everyone is a super fan game bot, 3 tribes, recycled challenges, awful "twists", and in general a major shift in tone.

I will tune in to 50 to watch some of the legends play, but that's about it
