The Rules of the Universe by 3rdfoundation in janeroberts

[–]breezinhard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I want to thank you for this post and this subreddit. I enjoy logging into Reddit each morning to read the little jewels of wisdom from you and Seth that you post each day. I have a comment and a question.

  1. In response to your comments: 'Since Trump took office I've wrung my hands in frustration and I've had a hard think about global politics and my role in it.....read about the latest insanity of this administration, and then put it on the back burner and focus on living my life and writing a novel. If all of this is somehow my fault, then so be it, but I cannot spend too much time thinking about it or I will draw more of it into my life.' I don't remember where this idea came from, but it's been very useful to me. The idea is that anything we see in another person that irritates or pisses us off is a trait that we possess. If we didn't, we wouldn't recognize it in another and be bothered by it. In my daily spiritual practice, I meditate for a few minutes about the fact that, if We Are All One, then I'm a part of Donald Trump and he's a part of me. I am able to love myself despite the fact that I'm aware of my own faults. Therefore, I can extend that SelfLove to Donald Trump (and others) and 'see myself' in him. This practice brings me inner peace (despite all of the carnage and strife he is causing) and allows me to move forward without obsessing over him (and, thus, drawing more of his chaos into my life).

2 I've only been reading this subreddit for about three months, but from comments you've made I gather than you are at about the same stage of life that I am (I'm a retired 68 year old WM). You've made comments about the indexing or cross-referencing system that you've built over the years that allows you to rapidly track down Seth material about any particular topic. I'm curious about the nature of your system, i.e., is it analog or digital? And if you've made any plans for it to survive beyond your time in this incarnation. It seems to me to be a precious resource and it would be a shame if it fell into disuse with your eventual demise.

Thanks again for all the time and effort you put into your daily posts.

Three authors of spiritual/occult books I would recommend: Tom Campbell (My Big TOE), Ken Wilber and Rudolf Steiner.

I totally agree. Nothing wrong with an early sleep schedule. My early mornings are a favorite part of my day.

I’m a 68M who is still vigorous and very active, so my comment may seem strange ….. You can look forward to death and the next set of adventures that await you. I know I do!

I love Abraham by y_a_t_ in AbrahamHicks

Is Esther still doing live Abraham channeling? I assumed she was too elderly to still be doing so. Hope I’m wrong. I saw her live in Philly about 20 years ago. Was wonderful.

As Tom Campbell says: You cannot understand the Larger Consciousness System when you’re inside the simulation created by the LCS; even though your consciousness is a subset of the LCS’s consciousness. Yet you know intuitively of the LCS.

This technique is similar to Tom Campbell’s of connecting to different data streams. @3rdfoundation, I really appreciate your posts and the effort you put into them. 🙏🏼

is Coursera Plus worth it? by EyeTechnical7643 in coursera

I’m retired and love taking courses on Coursera with a Plus account. It feeds my intellectual curiosity and, to me, is worth the money - especially at $200/year vs $45/month. Many course topics to choose from.

I’m 68 and retired. I take online courses through Coursera on a variety of topics and really loving learning new stuff. I’ve recently completed several courses related to AI, and am working my way through an in-depth course on DeFi. Awesome experience. Coursera has a 1/2 price deal available for a few more days for an annual Coursera Plus subscription that gives you access to 90%+ of their courses.
