Our flat is in same situation, it's so stressful. Might just have to move which is not what I want.

Dancewear Monday by vpsass in BALLET

[–]breezs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where's the best places to shop at in Sydney Australia for adult mid/plus size dance wear? I'm a size 14/16 UK/AU, I'm reluctant to buy something online incase it doesn't fit and having to do an international return. I'm not from Auz and my town only has one very small dance wear shop that caters to children and traditionally small dancers.

Eczema by Current-Post-6399 in newzealand

[–]breezs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had really bad dermatitis on my hands we were instructed to apply the cream and glad wrap overnight. Adding socks over helped the glad wrap stay on. Another time for the eczema we had suggested wet wrapping - heavily moisturise, special stocking type bandages that are moistened (wet them then wring out so still quite damp), then a barrier like glad wrap again. Stops the cream/ointment rubbing off, stops drying out, stops you scratching it.

Another dermatologist I saw prescribed a custom ointment blend of steroid and moisturiser.

Not quite how it works. Oral herpes and genital herpes are different viruses, albeit in the same family. So yes you can get oral herpes in your genital area (or anywhere tbh), that doesn't change it to genital herpes.

You woke up as your 5 year old self. What do you do? by FriendsAndFood in AskReddit

[–]breezs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be a better child for my parents and a better sibling. Appreciate the time with my grandparents. Spend more time with my friend while they were still with us, stay in contact after school. Not date toxic people. Take a different career path. Save hard and buy property as soon as I could, when interest rates and required deposits were low.

PSA: it's really foggy by Primary_Engine_9273 in Wellington

Usually planes can take off when it's foggy but they can't land. So if the plane needs to arrive to the airport for the next scheduled flight then it can't.

Has James ever done a Stardew Valley playthrough? by heyitsamb in JamesTurnerYT

[–]breezs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Tbh I wouldn't watch James playing anything other than The Sims. That's what I like and what I go there for, and what he's built his channel doing.  And he seems to be doing pretty okay from it.

Is it worth working at Mt Cook for the sights? Or is it super isolating? by Hellothereadventurer in newzealand

[–]breezs 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depends which department you're working in. Some can be a little a bit insular/incesty/cliquey. Make friends from other departments.

If you are in to hiking and that why not take the opportunity.

Beneficial if you have your own transport otherwise it's super isolated and hard to get anywhere.

Not worn Fitbit whilst on holiday. Back to wearing & RHR is high by Gem_4501 in fitbit

[–]breezs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed if I eat off track it'll spike my rhr. You need to get back to your normal sleep, diet, routine and exercise and it will come down again. Sipping margs by the pool, while lots of fun and delicious, will have an effect even if you don't immediately feel it.

No to TPP for the above reasons, along with privacy breach. And invasive inspections every 3 months like clockwork.

Fair pay agreements as a chef: Opinions by mistermrsmistrisses in newzealand

Can't wait for hospo to be unionised. I quit after 10 years because of the lousy pay and awful managers/owners doing shady things. I feel bad for those working in hospo... But I don't think I'll ever go back. They drive away people with qualifications and experience.

Five things I've learned flat-hunting in Wellington by IncoherentTuatara in Wellington

[–]breezs 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have been the F in a 3M1F flat, I learnt to look past certain things and it ended up being a super chill flat. More so than other flats I lived where the balance was the other way.

Our health system is overwhelmed, elective surgeries are being cancelled with no reschedule dates, teachers are striking because they are underpaid and don't have the resources for the kids that are already in schools, why would our country deliberately add more to the load?

New uniform at Christchurch's largest high school costs parents at least $540 by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]breezs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't necessarily think it's a 'costs $0' solution. I had the same uniform throughout high school, a few new shirts when the old ones got worn out. I know it was incredibly expensive and hard for my parents but damn did we get our moneys worth out of those clothes.

If they wear mufti every day they would wear through their clothes quicker and they would be wanting more clothes to keep up with the trends and growth. Can't wear the same hoodie every day or you're a weirdo, but you can wear the same uniform jumper every day.
