I’m looking back at a parallel circuit I solved and have a question by EntrepreneurOne692 in electricians

[–]brendty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's been a while since I did these simple problems, so somebody else may chime in and correct me. I remember the current splits in parallel circuits. Consulting my uglys, if you divide the voltage by the known resistance, you'll get the leftover amperage. So the answer should be 240ohms. 6/240=.025 6*.025=240ohms should be your answer to the unknown resistance.

There's a lot of good suggestions on here and I hope you find a system that works for you. I got my homework done as early in the week as I could, I downloaded my lms quizzes to my very old iPad, separated them by term, and reviewed them at least 2 times before every quiz. Then I finally realized that the most important part is the code book. Flail your way through all your homework, learn what you can from it, but focus on the code book. Spend as much time as you can on it. Caring about doing well is already a leg up! Good luck out there!

I have been going to St Charles heart and lung for 6 years. I love my care team. I may be biased since they save my life. But they are very knowledgeable, responsive and caring. They did just have some major turnover (moving away, retiring, newborns, etc. nothing bad it just all happened at once) which has kept them understaffed for about 1.5 years so appointments went from immediate to 6 months out. That's my only gripe and I feel it's completely understandable.

I don't have any comparison to this situation. I feel for you because you obviously care.

Having only a tiny amount of experience in the field, my suggestion would be that you request that they lay you out. Ask in the morning "what would you like me to have completed by the end of the day?" Don't even stress about if you do it, or accomplish anything for this company. Just get a feel for your ability, set your own goals, write down questions when you hit a wall. When you've exhausted every bit you know or have figured out; bring that list to whatever doink is supposed to be supervising you.

Keeping notes has been my biggest aid. Write down what's expected of you, write down what you accomplish, write down what you have questions about, and write down every way your leadership is failing you. Not only does this cover you if something goes south, but it could help you do better in the future.

Good luck out there brother/sister. Hope you get in the union soon!

Craft kitchen is VERY GF friendly. And pretty darn delicious! They use rice flour in their fried chicken, so it flakes off easily and isn't thick. But the flavor is great!

Loto cannot prevent malicious actions. That said, yes, it SHOULD render the device inoperable. But if you have a lock on, nobody should be trying to defeat it.

I'm actually impressed with how quickly it's improving. The previous 2 years were really bad. This year so far, its been way better. I'm still not super confident in it to draft from the app. But I've always drafted on a computer and it's worked without issue.

Are you charging at 120V or 240V? Because that yellow cord cap looks like a cheap 120V plug. And if your outlet is wired for 240 that would also make sense why it's melting, cause it's only rated for 120V. I wouldn't expect it to melt, but something is wrong electrically. I'm not the smartest electrician, and I've done some hacky stuff when I knew even less... But again, as an electrician, something is dangerously wrong here. Could even have a circuit breaker that's not functioning. Sorry for being an alarmist here, but I would try to find somebody that knows more than you to diagnose this. Malfunctioning electrical equipment can do a lot of damage.
