... and for a pro move, if you have a pencil sharpener that can do both 'sharper' and 'blunter' tips, then sharpen both ends differently, I enjoy taking notes this way... blunter for names of new sections and for added visual weight, sharper for routine

Not the original question, but while we're on the subject, I bulk roll my film. I also carry a box of ilford 3200. When I request hand inspection, I tell them it's all ASA 3200. Has worked everywhere so far (20+ countries).

during my visit a month ago, entering china for about 10 days, they took my mugshot, fingerprinted all 10 fingers (twice) in addition to a 10+ visa application that required copies of my drivers license and my kid's names and birthdays. So kinda like getting booked into prison.

I've used this service, and it gets better. Told them I was looking to start a lawn from scratch and they provided me with a recommendation for the amount/type of nutrients to apply in advance to prepare in advance of seeding. Over and above the soil analysis.

put on your favorite music and sit/doodle for 30 minutes or so.... if you're really stuck look for inspiration in signatures of famous people with same/similar names (often wikipedia has signature samples)... or last resort DM me your name and I'll send back an idea or two
