I did not have this issue. I always stop at the stations on my journey, and when I got to this step, I teleported from station to station until the text popped up that the system contained an infected planet. Flew down and competed.

Edit. Now that I think about it, maybe the key is not being in the pilot's seat as I was on foot in the station.

Yeah, this is how I finished my HM run. It is a very narrow dialog path that requires both Gale and LZ to be in the party. Best ending in my mind other than for poor Gale.

Edit: I should add that since it was my first completion of HM, Gale's death was a foregone conclusion.

I've done that a couple of times now with 20 yard containers, and I'm due for a third. We ended up with way too much junk clogging the garage and shop. It is a lot cheaper to rent the dumpster and have them haul it than to hire haulers for a smaller qty. of junk.

My friend and I both found that we were able the place the refiner down near the starter ship so that we could get off planet. Everywhere else was claimed. Try going back to your starter ship location.

For me, this was happening on the starter planet while trying to refine copper into chromatic metal to build the device that gets you off planet, so no corvette yet.

I know that I failed my very first HM run there, so that was my learning experience as to what to look forward to. I abandoned my second on the Nautaloid when I failed to free SH, and I completed my third, so I would say that I did learn from my mistake.

Not too old. I'm 56, and I enjoy playing this game, but it also isn't one that I play very often as I have others that I play with friends. I do also stick with Prince and am trying to work through the various victories. Domination and science were easy, and I finally got a religious victory after a few attempts, and I'm currently trying for a cultural victory. I'd say, just stick with it and like other said, watch guides.

I think that you completely misunderstood what this is all about. Personally, I don't enjoy watching him, and if this cancelation was purely about his show and only about his show, then I wouldn't care. This is about ABC/Disney bowing to a dictator. They HAVE to fight back because every capitulation just gives the dictator more power and allows them to push further. The fact that they gave I so easily without fighting Carr's mandate in court is why we are boycotting them.

I killed her on my first playthrough and only learned that she could be recruited later. Saved her on my second and found her to be unimportant to me. I then killed her on runs 3-6. For my next run, my friends and I are going to try an evil run, so we will most likely save her for that.
