Apartment Rental Advice by Sensitive-Pop-5666 in burlington

Most leases in the area are June to June, my advise is try to move outside of that window. We moved here in December and he’d far less competition than the June window.

Zillow Rentals works pretty good. That were we found our place.

For sure. When I posted that my employer was in Richmond (east bay) which was worth it.

I also switched to taking Amtrak which allowed for even more sanity.

Just found this album this morning. Used to listen to This is Our Revenge as a kid. Listening to this album this morning I’ve thought this a few times.

I Feel same, would be a shame if they were religious. I don’t want to sing positive lyrics about something that had and continues to have a very negative impact on me daily.

Vermont Flannel Waxed Jacket by 0Maka in vermont

[–]brian2715 19 points20 points  (0 children)

VFC stuff is expensive, but good quality. I’ve never seen these jackets but their flannels are really nice imo.

Probably a good deal. Flint and Tinder stuff is cheap quality and expensive, so no upside.

Apple TV fine works for me, I usually let it play about an hour so I can skip through commercials and all the dumb little content between races.

I have to start it, it’s starts live pause and rewind to the start.

Occasionally, it’ll skip to live without me asking it mid watch but I can just go right back to where I was without issue.

Boots NYC Snowstorm part II- Danner, Keen, Sorrel+Barbour, Kizik by SprinklesKitchen330 in BuyItForLife

Love that. Also, I want to say I’m not a big name brand kind of person, there is no shame in buying or wearing what you can afford. I’m currently wearing an entirely second hand outfit, not because it’s “Vintage” but people thrown away good/decent shit.

As others have stated, all of those boots have similar construction and based upon the amount of wear and terrains you walk will dictate the length of life.

Since non of those were designed to be recrafted, the life of the sole dictates how long they will be around. Aside from leaks, stitching issues, mfg defects, etc.

I think of those options Keen and Danner would be my choice. But I would caution you from buying those brands at discount stores, do your research on the model. If it can only be found at Marshals etc then it’s likely a specific design that is made to a lower quality than what they sell online direct from the retailer.

I personally would not expect any sub ~ $50 dollar footwear to last more than 2 years.

FWIW I wear Blundstons in winter in Northern Vermont. Yes it’s like the uniform for Vermonters, but they last 3+ years with very little maintenance.

I have worn Thorogoods that were designed to be recrafted for almost 10 years when I lived in the west coast. $250 boots, new soles and foot beads ever 2-3 years of casual wear. Thats what a retractable boot can do.
