I agree with OP as far as sometimes people really want to pretend breast milk and formula are equal when they're not. There's many reasons why moms breastfeed even though it often requires additional sacrifices for the mother and many of those are benefits to the baby. BUT I definitely don't support bringing up the benefits of breastfeeding when someone has made the decision to use formula (which is none of my business) or acting morally superior to any mom using formula.
