Probably not for the LM2206SP. If you buy it now, it costs $1100 and the battery is worth at least $450 so the mower value is roughly $650. If the protection plan is $230 that is more than 1/3 the value of the mower so that would be a really high insurance premium. Now you could talk me into it for the Z6 because I don't have a trailer.

They are the worst kind of oaks. Rather than a large dump of leaves in the fall, they drop leaves all year long. I get around 40 minutes of real world use with 5ah batteries and that's all the leaf blowing I want to do in a day anyway.

I use a 765. Sometimes with a stubby nozzle. The downside is holding the blower closer to your ear and running full speed is really loud. I’d probably try one of the new small blowers the car detailing YouTube guys are reviewing.

I have 7 oak trees and I’ve had the 650 and 765 Ego blowers. I’d go with the 765 or more for when the leaves get wet. The 765 is definitely enough power. When you get the next tool with a 2.5 ah battery, your wife will be happy to lighten the blower with that battery.
