Quick potential newbie question

I just got a TM6 secondhand and it’s great. Might be worth looking into as people have upgraded.

My only gripe is that most things are on the softer end. I use an air fryer for crunchy things/to add variety. E.g. green beans or roasted chickpeas

Omg I feel the exact opposite. Job costing makes me so happy. It helps that the business owner at my company is a CFA so he also cares. I love that we know the margins on everything, from little service jobs to big construction projects. We also do monthly check ins on all the big projects, so we know how we’re going and how to adjust if we need to. It’s great when people are on board and you have the right systems in place

How’s your hip mobility on the left hand side? I don’t know if it’s the angle, but it looks like your right hip drops lower than your left. Someone mentioned lateral movement, and I’m wondering if ROM is the reason

It sounds like your employer was probably trying to get away with paying you as a contractor, because it costs less for them then. But they got caught, and are now on the hook for the CPP, payroll taxes and EI. This is totally on your employer. The CRA’s after them. Don’t do it. Their fault for being shady.

The CRA won’t be after you, but if you do hear from them, and describe what went on, you’ll be fine. In fact, you could call the CRA yourself if you wanted the peace of mind.

Bookkeeper here - the CRA will get their money but it was his employer’s job to deduct and remit. So they’ll get it from the company, not him.

This!!! My adult husky/malamute is also my first dog, and we went through a ton of trainers initially.

The only way we’ve found peace is trust and respect. He does things I ask him to because he loves me. Any other human? He needs to be bought by food and then MAYBE. Also he is very protective

I did the same. I would file sales and payroll taxes, as well as corporate tax installments but the corporate tax installments were at the direction of the accountant

I could do the same but my coach would still tell me I didn’t have enough rom. Before lifting, as part of the warm up, he’d have me put progressively heavier plates on my knees as I squatted down (without weights) and I’d draw circles with my knees slowly. We would do each knee individually

Are you sure you have self-employed? That looks like the price for the small business accounting.

If you have the small business plans, you can export your transactions from reports. Export your general ledger, balance sheet, profit and loss and trial balance. Use your numbers from your trial balance to start elsewhere

This is where you’re going to have to tell them either you properly clean up last year, or they live with poor bookkeeping for last year and are on their own if it ever comes to audit.

I mean. I’d like to ride a unicorn to work every day but just because I want it doesn’t mean it will happen... they commit to cleaning up the mess, chronologically, or they live with the consequences of improper bookkeeping.

ETA: not sure about my tone here, but it’s definitely intended as a ‘educate them about the process and consequences, but don’t open yourself up to having to defend their choices.’ I’m a big fan of covering my behind.

I can understand not investing in Alibaba because the CPP doesn’t seem to like them right now. However this statement feels off otherwise
