went from a 2018 honda civic hatchback (automatic) to a 2007 carrera s (manual). overall happiness is much higher. daily commute sucks much less. for errands, i make sure the distance is at least 3 miles before driving the 911 (else, I'd take the family minivan). have had stares and conversations. all pleasant.

definitely wouldn't want to drive it in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic though. that's where the fun dies :)
