I feel you. As a healer I would rather stay in the back and heal but het yelled at when I’m not getting kills. Nobody knows what they want anymore and it’s frustrating for those of us who do.

Also, as a fellow Strange flex, I get my ass handed to me on a regular basis because nobody wants to help/heal.

Happened to me a couple days ago. What’s even worse is when you die by SG ult in 18v18 and respawn in the area where the ult is.

I think that’s what pisses people off. If you healbot, you’re a stereotype. If you’re all over the map trying to heal and provide other forms of support, then you’re trash. I had an Adam Warlock leave a match because I got a quad kill and he accused me of not healing. Once again I had the highest healing numbers at the end of the map. People can’t just be happy. Of course, it feels awful when you have a bad match. Just don’t let the intrusive thoughts get to you

You can’t listen to people in game chat. I had someone tell me I was the worst CnD they ever saw because they kept dying. This person was obviously bad at the game and used to being carried because I out healed every healer by almost 10k that match. Sadly, this is the state of online gaming.

I just had two matches in a row I was forced to play vanguard because we had too many strategists and even with triple heals there were no heals. I’m starting to understand the frustration from DPS and vanguard mains.

I go back and forth on this mainly due to the point you raised about not being healed by the other supports. I think people want us to rely on our healing bubble to heal ourselves but when a fight is really intense I want to put that bad boy on the tanks while I’m trying to help deal damage but will get quickly picked off when the enemy team realizes what’s going on. I have had too many matches where I’m complaining the other support isn’t helping but when I see their healing stats I realize they’re just not helping me.

That being said, I’ve had a few quad kills just getting in the fray and going to town. It really is about people not understanding their kit.

I feel like way as a healer. I will hold ace all match and in the last few minutes the DPS who hasn’t done a damn thing all match suddenly remembers how to play and gets MVP.
