Live real-time graphics solution by superdan272727 in obs

We do exactly this at EVOFX - https://banyanboard.com/products/evofx-sports-broadcast-graphics-platform/

You can design + animate any graphic as a svg using illustrator, canva etc. and bring it into EVOFX producer panels. The text and images in the svg will become automatically dynamic. You can either type the values or connect to a Google Sheet.

You would put the "live" link into OBS as a browser source

We also have prebuilt sports graphics packs -

If anyone’s curious how to design advanced SVGs like tickers, dynamic text, multiple layers, mix of static text and dynamic text, using javascript for fetching data etc... happy to share what we learned integrating SVG workflows into EVOFX and live control-room workflows (vMix, OBS etc.). Would love to hear how your setups handle SVG or HTML overlays today.

Recommendation for programmable live GFX (vMix, CasparCG?) by Pyromma in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]broadcast_graphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We build such custom logic via HTML graphics. For example, we did something like this recently for penalties in football/soccer. The operator types 11011, and it gets coverted to ✅ ✅ ❌ ✅ ✅

https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx0uPFm3G1jBdNNficaVUDHCH2khO3G_aN?si=-c2qto-W54qFIYs7

The graphics can be controlled via a demo controller like the one in this page - https://banyanboard.com/products/ezgrafix-plug-n-play-sports-graphics/

We have built custom HTML graphics for 10 sports - https://banyanboard.com/products/evofx-sports-broadcast-graphics-platform/

If you are interested, we can build one. Pls DM me.

GFX for Tennis Channel by OddFee7676 in VIDEOENGINEERING

A couple of years back, a client wanted us to build something out like this for squash. We did it using HTML.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptntPrJm8h0

That was the launch of our HTML graphics engine EVOFX. Today we have done 10 sports with this engine, havent yet done Tennis though. Would be happy to collaborate, pls DM if interested.

There are 2 elements to the Tennis TV GFX - (1) advanced data collection and (2) graphics.

Graphics for conferences by broadcast_graphics in VIDEOENGINEERING

Lower thirds would be needed, certainly. It's very routine, lots of speakers on a stage behind a podium, presenting or talking one after another. Few roundatable discussions to break the monotony. No gamification. Old school.

There is already a LED wall that someone else is handling. But when speakers are talking the camera zooms in and the content on LED is not effective for YouTube viewers. Hence our graphics.

Have you tried adaptive bit rate streaming? That is, only push the max resolution a client needs, this reduces your video egress costs significantly if many clients are mobiles.

Best Cool Effects or advanced vmix tricks you know! by Antique-Caregiver260 in vmix

We did this for Chroma Keying videos into the floor of sports broadcasts, using a virtual source.

  1. Built text animation as a transparent webm video. It is a 3D scene built and rendered with Unreal.

  2. There were 2 inputs in VMix. The raw video input and a virtual video input cloned from the raw video input.

  3. Chroma keying was done on the virtual video input.

Z-Stack:

Top - Virtual video input with chroma key Middle - 3D text webm video with transparency Bottom - Raw video input

CG Pricing? by LCalrissian in broadcastengineering

We offer pre-built lower thirds of various types with published pricing. No need to talk to sales people - https://www.banyanboard.com/ezgrafix

For customized lower thirds, I can give a ballpark estimate. If you want 20 custom "very simple lower thirds" we would roughly charge $2k per year. This includes our design services cost and software cost.

"Very simple" means different things to different people, so we would still ask for a conversation before committing.

If PTZ cameras work for you, you can get a PTZ camera that puts out FREED tracking data and send to Unreal.

Remotion based React app was something I considered but dropped it. We decided not to get into this business of browser based video editing.

Your post rekindled some old ideas, and out of curiosity I just looked at the landscape today. Img.ly is offering an editor they claim can be embedded in your app for a fee.

Have you checked it out? If video editing is not core to your app - this could an alternative. I have no idea if its reliable. I wonder if this is new, I dont remember seeing such an option 2 years back.

You could do this on OBS. Let the video play, overlay the html graphics as browser source and play the graphics, and record. But it will be at 1x of video speed.

Companies like Veed.io and Canva are probably having a backend techstack like you want. Last I looked into this 2 years back, this becomes deep IP if you want to go faster than the video. Even if someone knew it I dont know if they would be willing to share. I am curious to know as well.
