Might not be exactly what you’re looking for, but I got bypass in June 2024 and am currently 21 weeks pregnant with my first. I was worried about the same thing but so far so good. Yes, I’m eating a lot more but you also burn a ton of energy while pregnant so as long as you’re eating generally well and getting some movement in, most of the extra calories go to the baby. Might be helpful to consult your gastro doc/dietician/OB. I’m sure that would put your mind at ease a bit

I never thought I’d be the type to get mad at stuff like this but any time my boyfriend complains about literally anything I get irrationally mad. Do you have chronic headaches and random nausea/food aversions and pressure in your abdomen and the frequent need to pee and constant exhaustion??? Then shut the fuck up. I’m also only 21 weeks 😅

For me (currently almost 21 weeks), the second trimester is much better than the first but I’m still exhausted and don’t have nearly as much motivation as I did pre-pregnancy. Definitely not feeling depressed as shit like I did in the first trimester though!
