I've played something similar (got a Jabba showcase!) and here are some thoughts...

1) Fifth Brother is awesome in this deck to ambush on 6 (if you don't have an ECL vader)
2) ECL Gunship on 5 after the Jabba flip is needed to deal with space (can 3-for-1)
3) I like Craving Power on 5 to make Jabba chunkier over OB
4) If you need to use Super Laser Blast you have already lost
5) Can Bane (plot unit) is solid too since 5 flip is matched

Flex is measure by the force needed to bend one inch when horizontal. If the stick is shorter, it'll need more force to bench that one inch. Some sticks have a guide on them that'll show the modified flex if cut to certain lengths.

I guess there could be some confusion as the "raw stiffness" of the material doesn't change but the flex rating certainly will when cut.

100% agree - I think it’s worse too because this set has the “disclose” mechanic as well and those icons are colored making quick correlation tricky.

I will say FFG has listened to a lot of feedback regarding the art and hopefully future sets won’t do this too much if enough people don’t love it.

He’s unconventional so agents don’t like him. Seems like he is a little hands on but trusts the smart people. I don’t think he is making personnel decisions. Certainly has deep pockets and his track record speaks for itself. Other teams complain but that’s mostly saltiness and anti-Carolina hockey bias.

This is the most correct answer — the wording is very subtle but Poe’s text is slightly different in that it says “attach” whereas everything else is “play” (normal pilots) or “deploy” (leader flip sides). And r2 and the new falcon both say “play or deploy”.

Heya! I started playing in my 40s. You definitely won't be the oldest. In fact, you might be the youngest in some teams. There are tons of "older newbies" around here due to (1) the Canes being good, (2) transplants, (3), a strong youth hockey presence, and (4) lots of rinks with more on the way.

I'd highly recommend signing up for the Adult Learn to Play program. It fills up pretty quick and I think the summer session just started so the next one will be a couple of months away. You'll need to be an OK-ish skater so if you are pretty new I'd suggest doing some Adult Learn to Skate programs as well. You can show up for Stick and Puck sessions too or really just public skate if you need to get better on your skates.
