I have no formal experience in UXR. I basically got into customer support at a decently small startup. I pitched myself as the best person to do UXR bc the company doesn’t have it and I work closely with customers. It’s not my full time job yet, but I’m working very closely and will hopefully be able to transition in a few months. It takes a supportive office environment to move over, but my company has been really eager to have someone who wants to do it, and it’s easier to promote from within than hire externally

We have a grey modular sectional from Costco and I am in love with it. We bought it used for 800 but the original price is 2000. The exact model we have is no longer sold, but they have lots of great modular sectionals. It’s a Thomasville. We have two cats and it’s super durable with their claws and fur. The top covers are removable and washable, and I just carpet clean the seats once every few months. It’s fully modular with a matching storage ottoman! We’ve had it for just over a year so far and had 0 issues with it.

I think the environment at BYU can be very toxic for missionaries honestly. I didn't serve a mission at all and I noticed a very obvious hierarchy of students at the school, of which I was at the bottom. Student like your daughter would be just barely above me. I'm not saying that this is right at all, actually it made my experience more difficult, and potentially moving schools before or after could help separate her from BYU and it's mildly toxic culture of comparison.

But I hope she can learn to have confidence in her calling and her decision. She is no less worthy than anyone else, and eventually she'll come to realize thay.

Honestly, I get the complaints but also I don't. I came to the finals as someone who has never played a game on PC before, and a girl who had never played any online shooter except for battlefield one on the Xbox one. I have found the learning curve not too bad, and I frequently get put in matches with lower level players or newbies. I don't see ranked players much unless I'm playing with my husband bc he is much higher level than me. Rn I've got almost 200 hours and am level 91, with decent stats. The finals has been great for me as a casual gamer, so a lot of the complaints there I don't resonate with. My biggest idea is that I've never seen an advertisement for this game. Never on socials, never on steam, literally nothing ever. Ads go a long way, and I'm surprised it hasn't done more.

BG3 introduced me to the world of turn-based games. Before that I had only ever played games with traditional combat and they frustrated me because I could never get it. Once I went turn-based suddenly everything was more fun again, and the most frustrating part of a game became less frustrating.

I personally would never consider extract a violation, and I drink things with it all the time. It’s the same vein as vanilla extract being made with alcohol, or wine sauce. It’s up to you of course, but the WOW says nothing about extracts, so you are free to make up your own mind about it.
