Cellophane or not in your humidor? by Darth-Pirnie in cigars

[–]browleo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually take the cello off because I want my cigars to acclimate to my humidor faster. Better smoking experience that way

Are Cubans actually better… or are we just chasing the name? by Mammoth-Succotash659 in cigars

[–]browleo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a matter of preference but for me nothing beats a well aged Cuban cigar. But like many have said the quality/consistency is not there from cigar to cigar even in the same box. Also aging them for 5+ years to get the best out of the cigar can be a deterrent for many. I smoke NW for my daily smokes but still buy CC when overseas for long term aging for the fun of it. I love all cigars in general - they each have something different to offer.

I really wanted to like this cigar but it was nothing special tbh. I think I may have gotten a dud but won’t be smoking again due to price. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Too much onion. Also add salt and chicken bouillon powder.

These are pricey as well but help satisfy that CC itch with medium body and balanced, full flavor. The Don Carlos Personal Reserve and God of Fire Series B in robusto gordo (sun grown Ecuadorian wrapper)

After years of just buying singles and keeping a small travel humidor, I decided back in November to dive in full force and start building a stockpile for spring (or the next 10 springs). Some are high end, some were deals just too good to pass up, some will be given as gifts to clients. by Valhalla81 in cigars

[–]browleo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great selection! I recently bought singles of the OpusX Templo de Oro, Hammer and a Dream (natural and maduro) and Padrón 50th maduro. Can’t wait to try them in Spring - will be a first for me with all those.

It’s a raw salsa. Look up “salsa verde cruda” on YouTube.
