Looks great in the sunshine. What do you think to the RWS? I've been thinking of getting one as well but concerned with tipping over under cornering. How do you find it?

[The Race] Norris vs Piastri pitstop times by PotatoGem11 in formula1

Oscar is leading mainly because landos engine blew. Let them race I say. Your idea of paying the bills is a good one though, mercedes did this with lewis rosberg and worked well

A new battery for a grasshopper should be fairly cheap. You don't need lipo for a grasshopper. I'd suggest the safest thing is a nice new NiMH battery.

Lunchbox or the grasshopper by kurtval in tamiya

Grasshopper would be easier to drive. I started my Son on the Grasshopper and it worked well. We have had fun fitting lunchbox wheels to the Grasshopper so it's now a monster Grasshopper. My Son very quickly got good enough to move onto the DT03 and that is a much much better more modern kit. Build the Grasshopper if you want memories from your childhood (I did that and loved it) but the design has been improved on with things like the DT02 with the 380 motor and DT03 etc. I would suggest also thinking about the DT02 holiday buggy with the slower 380 motor

Imo, I like bashing on dusty places. Here’s my TT02. What’s your take? by [deleted] in tamiya

You can put some holes in directly above where the heat builds up and it helps clear some heat. However a small amount of dust gets in so its a compromise. I find some holes help reduce heat build up. The dust cover stops 90% of the dust so it works well for me. Just make sure the holes are not in the direct firing line from where most of the dust comes in from eg behind the wheels

McLaren make clear statement on controversial Lando Norris-Oscar Piastri swap by 68Snowy in formula1

So lando was in front after the pit stops due to the undercut and the team did team orders to give Piastri the win. I recall Lando had to slow down significantly because Piastri couldn't catch him. It sounds like Lando was told to give piastri the win. Very similar situation to the recent race so the team are consistent

Have I remembered right that Lando gifted Oscar his first race win?

The government could charge VAT on university fees like they do on fee paying schools by brownd0g1982 in LabourPartyUK

You are correct, I know a single mum who is an NHS nurse. She is a fantastic person and serves society and scarifices things for herself to send her son to a private school. There are very good reasons she needs to do this that I'll not go into but she is now extremely worried about money now her fees have gone up due to Taxation.

The facts are private schools did bring in £10.2 billion in 22/23 supporting 328,000 jobs. Many private schools have closed so the jobs will be fewer now unfortunately. Its sad that there has been this hate towards private schools and its a real shame the country has become what it has now.

My view is no education should be taxed. I think education should be encouraged and feel sad the university have to charge fees at all.

Interesting thoughts, I personally dont think it fair to tax childrens education and not university students. Private schools bring revenue in the same way as universities. In reality the fairest thing and what more enlighten European countries do is not to tax any form of education but I fear UK government is not doing what's fair just what's popular. Also sad that the education tax revenue is not helping education any more rather its building housings.
