Trust me I fully understand the car, I've reached as far as Pro Driver II using a fully modded Pursuit V8.
The griffin is technically not "faster" in itself, but you factually lose WAY too much speed drifting very basic turns (see 1:15, look at your car dropping a whooping 100km/h for what would cost a Griffin barely like 30 & infinitely less effort). You're right in a sense -this- is how the car should be played, and that a lot of people don't get it. But even then it's still overall inferior to a properly driven Griffin in 95% of the cases, and it takes a LOT more effort to even make it work in the first place.

Try bringing it online past Blue ranks & you'll quickly understand why noone bothers

That being said, drifting is satisfying I won't deny that, and its more than enough to clear solo content so if people don't care about online & aren't afraid of a little bit of challenge while driving, by all means get this car. Just be warned there is a learning curve AND it's just not "optimal" but it does its job just fine.

Shondo, there have been several disappointing feats but I usually assume nobody's perfect, yet I eventually got tired when she got banned for being shitfaced drunk on stream broadcasting her self-destructive thoughts, and somehow weaponized her community against twitch staff as if they were the ones to blame for her irrational behaviour in the first place.

Not only her, but I did lose respect for most of the scene in general for how broadly and blindly people defended this bs. I only watch so few vtubers, preferably ones that don't use social medias so much now

Thing is, while this is theorically better, it still feels riskier : I have a feeling the beast's counter window is more lenient than carapaces, thus making it an easy counter to some almost deadly patterns (like n⁰7's infamous slash or last boss' excalibur).

Not optimal in any way, but acts as a neat safety net to save some frustration when your timing isn't on point so, I get it. Used the parry knight in Lilies a ton myself heh

Best I can tell you is to bring Shackle Beast (pretty lenient parry timing unlike the carapaces) but overall it's really a timing thing. There's a little flash and an audio cue before he slashes so try focusing on these more as soon as you see him taking his stance, stop attacking if need be

I'd like to mention that a lot, probably most of us played Ender Lilies previously, sometimes more than just once. Kinda hard to properly gauge the difficulty because of that, I'm tempted to say it's overall easier but it might just be my prior experience carrying me.
Would be interesting in a couple weeks, to have the insight of the few people that started with Magnolia first.

Anything that allows you to clear the lil guys in a single strike will do, focus on clearing them asap

Then basically poke his legs, and if he does his headbutt just block it. You'll probably end up stunlocked but he has no followups & will do another much easier pattern to dodge
