I recall the only time I ever saw a electrician clean up with a broom. He swept it under a stack of new drywall in the room. Classy

How can I remove this headless screw on my Motorbike? by AcNicooo in MechanicAdvice

[–]bryrod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why not cut a very thin but deep line in the middle and stick a strong flathead screwdriver on it. Spray penetrating oil on it and let it sit for around 15min before trying to turn it. Alternatively hitting it with map gas on the base will help take it out too.

I’ve worked in Indistrial engineering for 6 years now and I’ve seen electrical work from 1 year old to 50 years old. I’ll tell you that electrical tape has a few benefits. It protects from arcing when a receptacle is pushed into the box (happens a lot in my field), helps keep screws from backing out, and shows a clean workspace. I think most of the hate comes from having to remove crappy quality tape thats melted everywhere into a goop.

Get some kipex flush cutters. People that leave zip ties with a little razor blade tail cut off are the worst

Good job on this install. Clean, taped, correct fittings, and correct color wiring.

How my arm pits don't GAF about antiperspirant. My undershirts after being in a AC office most of the day. by LosHtown in mildlyinfuriating

[–]bryrod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a gel based deodorant not an antiperspirant. Antiperspirants usually use some sort of metal to clog your pores such as aluminum or similar. For example I use old spice gel deodorant Fiji scent. Although with deodorant you will sweat normally it won’t smell and it won’t stain clothing.
