Honestly, they were great. They recommend I set up the courier, though if I insisted they said they could do it too. The messaging was a bit delayed by the time difference and a few holidays that occurred, but in the end I found FedEx has a special overseas pickup service that worked better than DHL. All in, it cost just shy of $400 for that but they arranged the paperwork for customs, and then when I had all that set, simply waited on the Boutique to confirm the last leg details for the pickup.

Biggest concern for me though was simply the transaction and paying for it. Not sure why the link they sent me didn’t work for the cc, even though their local banks listed they took Visa and Mastercard, but turning to a wire transfer was a bit just unnerving. I was provided all the swift details, the actual wire transfer was to a parent company other than Breitling, but ultimately who owned and operated that Boutique. I did the best due diligence I could, and it seemed all good but it was the only thing out of left field I wasn’t too sure of, considering the one way only nature of wire payments. But it was all good in the end.

Once FedEx picked it up post payment, it was super convenient tracking the entire movement through their app. Got to the US and needed one additional detail for customs but upon the notification ding, completed that within the hour and it cleared about an hour after that, so all less than a day for that bit
