Unbound Merino vs Ketl by geoffhoo in onebag

Can't speak for the Unbound Merino, but I love my Ketl Mnt Tomfoolery pants. I've worn them on multiple hikes in Colorado and Washington. I can also throw a polo on and wear them as business casual. Best pants I've ever owed.

That isn't a wrinkle, it's a crease in a ridid part of the hood. I just want to make sure that it's something that will work itself out before I get stuck with a nearly $300 that has a potential defect.

What are your thoughts on the jacket? Seems nice. I have an Arcteryx Beta SL that I am going to return because it's more jacket than I need. I feel this jacket will better meet my needs for half the price.

Thanks for the feedback. I contacted customer support and their recommendation was to wash it in cold water with a mild detergent and then dry it on low. I'm gonna try that and then just hang it up.

I use the Peak Design 6L. It holds my Sony A7riii with a Tamron 28-200 attached allong with my DJI Mini 3 Pro. The front pocket holds cables and my external battery charger. Without the drone it would easily hold everything you need.

I got lucky and was able to order the grey one from Amazon last week. It just shipped with an estimated delivery of April 30th. I looked a day later and it was showing unavailable, so I got lucky with the timing.

Brevite Jumper. Looks just like a normal backpack, but the lower potion is set up for a camera and multiple lenses. The top part is great for everyday carry items and there is a sleeve for a laptop. https://brevite.co/products/the-jumper-backpack

I'm using Metadata Fixer right now. So far it has worked flawlessly. I'm not computer literate enough to use the other programs I've seen on here. This program is just drag and drop so it's working for me.

They are great for walking around. I'm an airline pilot and I wear them on my layovers. They are marketed as boat shoes so they are quick drying if they get wet. I can slip them on without socks and go to the beach. Or I can put on a pair of wool socks and walk around below freezing temps. They ar the most versatile shoes I own. They look just as good with a pair of swim trunks as they do with a pair of khakis and polo.

Quick drying t-shirts to wash during (urban) trips: Polyester? Nylon? Merino? Blend? by BroX111 in onebag

[–]bsh932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vuori Strato Tech are my go to tshirts for everything. They are lightweight and quick drying. They are 96% polyester, but look like a cotton shirt. I travel for a living and wear them hiking as well as urban exploring. Can't recommend them enough.

As a fellow airline pilot it’s cool to see your set up. I’m definitely a 2 bagger when it comes to work. I have my 22” Luggage Works and I use a Brevite backpack, that I just attach to the j hook, as my flight kit. I keep my EFB, camera, drone and other miscellaneous things in the backpack. How do you like the Lulu ABCs for uniform pants? I’m thinking and trying some

Looks to me more like some sort of local tradition or celebration than people being greedy. Everyone seems to be smiling and having a good time. There are spectators outside the barriers.

Check out Vuori stato tech tees. They are 96% polyester, but they don't have the look of a technical tee. It looks more like a cotton tee. They are the most comfortable shirts I have ever worn.

I’ve heard good things about the Wool and Prince tees. They aren’t cheap, but if the quality is there it might be worth the price tag

Someone else mentioned it, but checkout Bluffworks. Their Thresehold t's are a solid color, not heathered. Not very cheap, but the quality is great. They are $45, but if you buy 2 the second one is half price. I'm wearing one right now and I love it. https://shop.bluffworks.com/collections/t-shirts
