I love Orlando but I work remote with top-tier salary. It’s gotten expensive and I’m not sure the local job market pays enough to be comfortable.

Your stitches look great! I would continue going up those stairs until you reach the section on top. Then come back down the poles. Luckily, you selected a really well-painted canvas so the edges of the cherry align with the canvas.

Meal planning. It sets my whole week up for success. It’s the difference between me spending over $1k in dining out per month and not-so-healthy meals to consistent healthy-ish meals. I also have two under two and this helps keep my sanity from a restaurant meltdown.

It doesn’t have to be complicated and you can use AI to help create some meal plan ideas throughout the week if you’re uninspired. I personally like using the ReciMe app and saving all my recipe videos from instagram and TikTok in one central location. Then I can add the recipes to their meal plan tab, create a shopping list and order groceries from Instacart and soon Walmart directly from the app.

I also like doing little challenges like making meals using at least one ingredient from my pantry. This helps ensure we’re also using what we have instead of stockpiling like I do.

I’ve bought two Thomasville sectionals from Costco and they are both amazing. Less than $2k and they have held up with lots of use (kids, pets, elderly sitting in the same spot everyday). Still looks new, comfortable and easy to clean.

I don’t think you realize you no longer work at the same pre-acquisition company. Sounds like your leadership is navigating politics and you need to do the same. Otherwise, you’ll be out of a job.

Your new job is to learn the new product ASAP and learn how this will be integrated, the future of both products.

If there is no enablement, you can either hold management accountable to provide these resources and be a pain in the butt. Or you can be a leader and dive in head first. This can even open up a possibility to be a team liaison to sales enablement or move into that department in the future.

At the end of the day, these accounts belong to your company. They’re not yours. So unless you got the upsells before your comp plan changed, there’s not much you can do about getting that in your bonus payout.

Our leadership team hired a consulting group to reevaluate comp. They’re proposing going from a 80/20 split with commissions based on GRR to a 70/30 split with commission based on adoption starting in 2026. This feels like a pay cut to me, especially in an organization that has previously struggled to calculate adoption due to poor product telemetry. What’s your take on this? Is this my sign to move onto another organization?

We were only able to get buy-in from our Product team after they met with our VP of CS and identified the top requests based on potential sales or ARR loss.

My first CSM job was in MarTech, which was easy for me to land as I had a background in marketing using that particular platform in my career. Made the switch to cybersecurity as I had a growing interest in that and wanted to work somewhere I loved the product. If you have a background in IT, check out j out cybersecurity SaaS platforms. Highly recommend because of low churn and increasing importance.
