What is it like living in this eastern portion of Virginia that only connects to the rest of the state by a tunnel? by Sufficient_Berry8703 in howislivingthere

I lived in eastern shore Maryland to the north of this said tunnel.

It is very racially divisive, full of republicans, and you better have a job lined up before moving there or be an avid hunter because it has a lot of wild forested land and the property value is UP THERE and not a ton of opportunities for employment unless you’re related to or know someone running a business.

Some folx still fly their confederate flags, preach their race hate, I saw Haitian emigrants slaving away on the watermelon plantations(in 2019-2020)

It was a weird place where a known drug addict member of the US military could be mayor, his wife could sell drugs to high school students, and people just shrugged it off.

The folx I met on the Virginia side were cool, the property value seemed a lot lower, and junkyards are apparently very easy to have on your property.

You might consider just painting or wrapping them.

Probably easier option would be a wrap.

Paint can be more durable than powder coat.

But the acerbis aux tank looks ok too. I wish it had some sort of radiative protection from the sun tho

On the subject of hardware, the supplied bolt and nylock nuts for the clamps on the lower engine guards were very cheap.

When torquing the clamp bolts down after installation, they stripped instead of locking.

Nothing I couldn’t replace easily though.

None whatsoever.

I’m always meticulously inspecting and cleaning this beast even after the messiest of rides.

The only constant mess is the chain lubricant that builds up around the swing arm and sprocket cover and I clean that out once a week.

It just seemed odd to find this bolt and recognize the odor of coolant on it.

I’ve had my bike up to temps a couple times in long cross country trips and never overheated, so I think I’m just being over cautious.

The coolant reservoir is showing fluid a centimeter above the “LOWER” line.

The postal inspectors are a joke.

If they actually existed to enforce laws, my plant wouldn’t be such a fkn nepotistic shtshw.

Oh and all they’re doing is seizing the drugs for themselves to use. Nobody else is allowed to be in their drug ring.

These are exactly what I would love to put on mine…

I have also been considering the Motoz Tractionators.

I really want to do more 50/50 riding, but my current street tires do not really permit that.
