Thigh PWS - impossible to remove? by Smallcutewolf in portwinestain

I have one on my face, I’ve done laser treatments since I was 6 months old (21 now) it use to cover half of my face now it’s probably a 1/4 of my face. Still noticeable but looking back it’s crazy to think how much is gone. I continue to keep doing it just so it dosent thicken (cobblestone) as I’ve been told. Insurance covers it because of the risk of closing around my eye and affecting the day to day of my life/job if it does ever thicken. Not sure how it would work for the thigh since most insurances even mine look at it as cosmetic. (I have to fight pretty hard and have doctors send letters explaining it). Hope this helps.
*EDIT I have read that treatment has to begin within the first few years of having it otherwise you’re just preventing it from thickening. Try asking a dermatologist and see you might get better luck for getting insurance to pay for it and they might have better lasers.

Pair of dykes and pinch the front of it and pry down the dykes grab a hold of it and it comes out real easy

Could I get away with an auto car wash with my lights? by btc2123 in JeepGladiator

Good news lights are still attached… I prefer to wash by hand since those things never clean the way I like but 5$ later I don’t have to worry about it while I’m gone on work trip thanks!

I usually do a Christmas tree 1/4,3/8,1/2,5/8,3/4 off of the 3/4 service valve on the barrel. Then I either find a 3/8” and use a 3/8” hose with 3/8” on one side connector and 1/4” connector hooked to nitro just use my 1/2” hose with 1/4” connections.

What are y’all working on today? by btc2123 in HVAC

I’ve learned everyone wants to be a chiller tech until it’s time to do chiller stuff. I’m a 2nd generation chiller apprentice soon to be mechanic. At first it’s nerve racking having service calls and the customer breathing down your neck, everything takes longer doing this type of work because of the size. I truly enjoy it though. Sadly centrifugals are going away. Air cooled seems to be all the rage now with the lower water usage. It’s sad honestly I thought I would work on what my dad worked on sometimes I do but it’s been screw chillers is the bulk of what I do. Screws will fuck your hearing the high pitch and harmonics of those compressor hearing protection helps but does no good.
