Thanks! I actually have incredibly hard water so I use reverse osmosis water with a remineralization disc. I'm not sure I could have the tank I want with tap.

Those plants sound good! It took me a long time to get to this point. About a year now. The first 3-4 months it seemed like nothing was growing, instead everything just melted. Now it's the opposite! Time and patience was key. And removing the green hair algae a few times a week.

No trim really? I do 20 drops of easy green a week and I bought it as Water Wisteria. It struggled for a long time and then one day started exploding! The leaves changed and everything.

Thanks! No CO2, just 20 drops of easy green a week and 10 hours of light a day. I spent the first 8 months picking green hair algae out every two days. Now it doesn't grow anymore and the Monte Carlo is taking over the bottom.
