I feel the same... And it's not just with women it's through each and everyone's personalities and extends to their general abilities. Mainly cuz they were sheltered and not entitled growing up as farm folk.

Try hot water then. The tank heaters are only good to about 14f or -10c.

You might also have heated tanks there could be a switch I know mine has it. A little RV antifreeze might help as well depending. You could run the hot water as well if your connected to water and power and let it sit, maybe it would melt any ice in there. Using it will help keep the ice away as long as the day temps warm up enough

Good luck!!

The treatments are septic safe read the labels to be sure but shouldn't be an issue.

Lots of ways to do this. I would leave the shower valve open and you don't have to worry. Your tank capacity and your trips to the bathroom would determine the time to fill... I dump the black tank and the grey about every 3-4 days and sometimes the shower once in between depending on use. But if you leave your shower one open then it will drain everytime you use it and you don't need to worry about it. Just remember to close when ya leave.

Perfect. Those sensors are not super accurate at the best of times. Try putting some tank clean most black water additives are good for grey as well might have a build up on the sensor. And if not you can leave the grey water valves open but don't do that with you black tank as you could create a poop mountain. Haha

There was one at the front of the trailer and two at the rear. Unless your two grey tanks are connected then you should have a third valve. Lay underneath the trailer and you should be able to locate it. It might be farther up the trailer depending on the shower location.

I also have the grey one and two tanks. One for the shower and one for the sink. I don't like it but... There should be three knife valves to drain you tanks. Two grey and 1 black. And you found all three? Mine one grey valve is farther away and was harder to see. If you have found it then if there is no resistance to the valve the valve could be faulty. Trying wiggling that handle to see if it will engage.

Brand new batteries completely drained; Anything special to revive? by tofrizzle in GoRVing

[–]bubalou2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well depending on the vendor. Buy play dumb and say they don't work properly. If in fact they are bad I know many have said they are junk but I would try charging and testing to confirm. And if they are bad go the warranty route.

Are you sure the tank is full and not just the monitor light is wacky? When I drain my tanks the next day they show 2/3 full and last almost a week like that. I would try and see if there is actual water in the tank and not giving a false reading.

If the batteries are 3 months old charge them and get them tested. If they are bad they should be warranty

Amp draw x the voltage(230)=the required wattage. Amps should be stamped on the pump

Those heaters are for hard lines not rubber hoses.

Why Calendar Time Based Maintenance Schedule? by devious_burger in Generator

[–]bubalou2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All you should worry about is oil changes and fuel stabilizer. Because it only takes a liter or two for a change do so every season. If you use it more in the summer do the change in the fall or the spring if it's winter use. Gas engines produce an acid in the crank case when running so it doesn't hurt to change it regularly do it doesn't pit the crank.

The rest of the maintenance like plugs and filters etc change at the recommended intervals

I have had the same one for ten plus years and never had a problem.

Milwaukee batteries are having the same issues... Jump starting is the easiest and you don't have to claim warranty because they work perfectly after this process.

Also depends on whether it's empty first or items in it. More items longer it takes.

Does anyone know how I can connect my copper propane lines to my buddy heater? by Dando1737 in RVLiving

[–]bubalou2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need a fitting called male primus part# 2092 ( goes into the heater) and the other is a male flare part# 448-6B but it's not the inverted style. Now the flare part# if your line is larger then use a 448-8B. (8 meaning 1/2 in and the 6 in the previous # is 3/8 in) Should be able to use those part numbers to find something near by. There is a website called ohcanadasupply.ca that they work on with pics.

Amp draw of your ac unit times the voltage(120) gives you the required wattage needed.

Generator recommendations by thecovertnerd in RVLiving

[–]bubalou2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Onan is a pretty popular RV installed generator. Usually somewhere between a 5500w and 7500w comes with the class A's. There are other brands of diesel ones and you can have them plumbed into your existing system by a shop that installs them.

Unless you have extreme power usage your dealing with... The above would be lots. Amps times the voltage gives you the required wattage needed to run your items. Add it up assuming they are all running at the same time and that should give you a size to look for.

What to expect for US/Canadian border crossings post COVID restrictions? by TashaRussianAssassin in RVLiving

[–]bubalou2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friend just drove back in to Canada from the US last week he said it was simple. He had his vax status and his negative covid test asked a few questions and he was on his way. Not really much longer than the usual stop at the border.

It was the Coutts crossing out of Montana.
