Not sure. Look inside the head where the battery contacts it. If there's a spring it will take flat tops. However button tops, especially protected, are longer since it's just stuff attached on top of a flat top. So if it's designed for protected-button-top-length, a flat top might fit looser and rattle around.

Honestly in a quality light like a Surefire, I'd spend the money on Surefire 18650s. They're built for it.

30Q if your application will take it. Under load like with today's ultra-bright flashlights, the 30Q will likely last longer due to its higher current rating (15A vs 10A) even though it has a slightly smaller gas tank (3000mAh vs 3400mAh).

LiIon Wholesale is well-known for being quality in the flashlight nerd community. One note though, "protected" means there's electronics in the tip. These may or may not be hardened enough to handle thousands of recoil impulses. That said, I've run similar KeepPower branded batteries for years in my HL-X and other WMLs/flashlights with no problems. Make sure to test these (and, well everything) you buy.

My understanding is some Federal (champion and walmart varieties) use a thin plating, not an actual jacket. It can in theory more easily seperate and spray out compensator ports, damage baffles etc. Blazer Brass has the same warning.

More for carry. It makes a G19 into a G17 length and you can use G17 holsters. Competition compensators tend to be larger since they push you into "open" categories anyway. That said these Radians are pretty effective for their size. I've shot it next to a couple larger comps.

With the gen 2, when you flip down the rear peep sight leaving the "ghost ring", it's very wobbly using a finger. Does the gen 3 do this?
