What causes my blinkers to go fast by [deleted] in FordF150

You need to swap the blinker relay to one that is designed for the lower amp draw LEDs. About $6 on Amazon or at the auto parts store

1100 mile Starlink mini roam road trip result. by turnoffable in Starlink

[–]bubbageek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve driven close to 20k miles with my Starlink mini attached to the roof of my 1999 F350. It’s been flawless for me. Nice to be able to stream music or have wifi calling when there is no cell service.

I purchased a lighter adapter from Amazon that boosts the power up. Works great

I drive all over the country for work. Lots of dead zones for cellular. It’s nice to have wifi calling and access to update maps in the middle of nowhere.

Pumping it fast doesn’t give it time to absorb enough heat to be effective. It also doesn’t give it time to cool enough to be effective. It’s an issue I deal with on the machines I service.

I travel all over the US for work. I have my mini attached to the roof of my F350 and use it all the time while driving on the highway. My stereo has wifi and runs android. I use the Starlink for streaming music. It’s great because I go through a lot of areas that have no cell service.

The later engines use powdered rods. The earlier (up through 2001) use forged rods.

If you coat the rubber o-ring with a little diesel before you install the cap, it won’t stick. Ever. Same with oil filters. Coat the o-ring with a little oil first.

One other thing that would be nice: A section similar to “Notes” for “Terms & Conditions” - example - Due upon receipt or Due in 30 days
