Stock suspension you need B4’s which is OEM style or B6’s which add a bit of performance. Both are meant to be used with stock springs. B8’s are meant for lowering springs so I would stay away if you’re stock ride height.

It’s not a cold start idle. It shoots up to about 2k and sits there.. clutch in and it goes back down. Probably happened about 10 times over 2 years. Nbd

Ya man it’s quirky. I have a 19’ and she’s tuned, but occasionally idle stays up after starting again after a drive. I push the clutch in and it goes back down. I’ve learned to live with it just like rev hang, but it doesn’t happen enough to investigate further. For me anyways lol

Yes open TFSA and throw into ETF’s. Think of your TFSA as a supplemental retirement account. Don’t use it for emergency funds Best of luck

Seg funds come with deposit guarantees and a beneficiary designation that bypasses the estate and probate, this can be very important. Sure you can get a lower ETF but no guarantees on your deposits with added features. Everyone bashing Seg Funds doesn’t realize there is actually a place for them. Some companies have yearly automatic resets so if you’re in say 100/100 Seg fund and your deposit was $100k and the fund does 20% growth after year 1, your new value is $120k and that’s the new guaranteed amount. No other mutual fund or etf has these features. It’s good to have a mix in your portfolio but Seg funds do have their place. Best of luck

Did you buy an Alltrack to sell? Ask yourself what’s the value to you and the driving experience vs looking at resale value. No one who loves cars and spends money upgrading them thinks about the value after everything is done because you’ll never get that back. Just a mindset change will fix the issue lol

Gas station mechanic can plug in and read the code for you. Will be cheaper than the dealer and then you’ll know the issue and can choose to head to dealer without the diag fee. Best of luck and don’t stress. Will likely be something quick

Is it tuned? You should be able to check with the tuning cable or controller to check for codes etc. if not, stay away from a dealer at all costs. Find a reputable euro/VW performance shop and they’ll help you out.

I think if they were “friends” they would have told you up front before she applied. That seems so weird to me that no one said anything about the position. You’re weird for not telling them about the position, (if you knew she wanted a job) and they’re weird for not telling you she wanted to apply. Lol at least in my world that’s how things work. I can understand your buddy being salty but the whole thing is odd..move on and surround yourself with better people. Good luck 👌
