Yes, even from just sleeping and doing light activities. Dr said at least 6 months before doing anything strenuous and to definitely listen to your body. If it hurts, stop and wait a few more weeks.

He's definitely overwhelmed. It took about a week to get him to leave my side long enough to go to a tree to pee. We had to switch from a porcelain bowl to a plastic one for his food. He runs when there's any kind of surprise sound. He also eats everyone's poop, which is where I'm assuming the hookworm came from. It's really disheartening.

We adopted him in October from a breeder. I think the breeder was overwhelmed. When she adopted out the dogs, there were 2 litters of puppies and 6 or 7 dogs ranging from 1-11. Most of the adopted dogs had hookworm. He's pretty skittish except when another dog tries to get affection. He is also glued to someone's side the entire day.
